A design of a green cross with all sides equal enclosed in a rectangle on one point with red steps and green saw teeth in rows and columns of five against a background of light and dark blue checked fabric. Geometric quilting of waves around the outside and rectangular quilting in the other light squares. Great printed cotton backing.

Condition: May never have been washed as the blue chalk lines for the quilting are still visible...

Japanese antique small ko tansu (personal chest) made all of kiri (paulownia) wood with black lacquered iron hardware. This small chest has 7 drawers of various sizes; 2 large drawers on the top portion, 2 medium drawers and 2 small drawers on the lower portion. The hardware is all made of blackened iron and includes round lock plates and square drawer pulls.

An extremely rare sample of Yuan dynasty copper red under glaze yuhuchun vase, rounded side with pear shape body and glazed base, vase decorated with under glaze copper red of sailing sampan on the river, a human riding and scenery landscape motif.
Vase in newly excavated from Trowulan area east java, very good sample for anyone who interested into studying early Chinese porcelain.

Very rare antique cut crystal with a sterling silver cap alcohol holder complete with a sterling chain attached to a sterling silver thermometer case which contains the original thermometer. In excellent condition, the crystal alcohol holder measures 3" long and the sterling thermometer case measures 4.5" long. A very fine and rare addition for the collector! Circa late 19th C.

A terracotta idol figurine of astarte, Syro-Hittite, dating to the mid-later period of the 3rd. millenium BC.

The pillar figure of Astarte with large round eyes and a bird-like presence. Angular shoulders and a monolithic body with her hands and delineated fingers placed over her breasts.

Size: 13,5 cm...

A small underglaze blue decorated stem dish painted inside with three 17th/18th Centuty style cranes and outside with three bats. The stem is decorated with buddhist knots and stylized plantain leaves. To the inside of the base is the four character mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722) but this item was probably made later, during the 19th Century. Condition - there are two repairs to the rim, each with an associated short hairline. No further damages or restoration...
