Extremely Rare Edo Period Isho Ningyo Pulling a Wagon with a Crane. Early 18th Century Ningyo like this very rarely come up for sale. This Isho Ningyo is special, as it resembles a Karakui (mechanical) Ningyo. This important Ningyo has a classic face with painted features, sumptuous embroidered textiles, and is pulling a cart that has a crane inside. It stands on a lacquered base. A similar example is in the Homa Museum in Japan. 14.5h x 9.5w inches, 37h x 24w cm.

A green glazed "celadon" stoneware vase with flattened pear-shaped body,ring handles and moulded decoration made in the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province in the 14th Century, during the Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). A rare Yuan dynasty iron spots very large melon shape ewer, rounded side with globular body and unglazed base, ewer decorated with under glaze iron spots motif, two lugs on the neck and covered with qingbai glaze.
Ewer is in good condition with restoration on the spout and handle, no damage no chip, no crack on the body, still a very desirable piece for collection, its very rare to find a Yuan melon shape ewer in this very large size.
