The reverse decorated with Shippo-tsunagi, six coins bound with trailing ribbons to the reverse and a comb pattern to the foot. The dish measures 18.5cm in diameter (six suns) and stands 4.5cm high. The foot-rim measures 8.6cm in diameter and is 1.2cm high. The dish is in good condition no cracks, chips or restoration...

Set of 12 English Mintons Porcelain Cobalt blue and Etched Gold border Dinner plates, 10 1/4" diameter, 1" high, with brilliantly encrusted and raised gold border on top of the cobalt blue wider border, and impressed mark "Mintons Est. 1793 England", "g6262" in Red plus impressed mark on the bottom. The condition is very good, no damages, gold etched raised borders have some reflections from the camera settings, all in excellent condition.

Porcelain plate made in China for the 17th century Japanese market. Blue and white design of a bird in a pine tree draped in moss. Encircled with a thin ring of blue. The edges of the plate and the many small irregularities in the firing are especially prized in this type of ware. "Ko-sometsuke ('old blue and white') porcelain was produced specifically for the Japanese market during the final decades of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644)...

Rare and important head of a bearded apostle, his face showing a strong and passionate expression. Polychrome wood. Eyes made of glass painted inside. Of Spanish origin, dating back to the 18th century, this head was found in the Philipines in 1978, together with the centurion head (see our stock number 1-1013 ). Height: 29 cm. Japanese early 20th century bronze OKIMONO of a peacock by TSUDA SHINOBU. (1875-1946) Signed DAIJU on back of piece. Comes with original artist's box. The OKIMONO measures 5 1/4" tall, 10" long and is 3" wide.

This set of 6 porcelain soup cups and saucers was produced in the US by Willets Belleek between 1885 and 1909. The porcelain and the decoration originated from the factory. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high and 5 inches across the handles. The porcelain is egg-shell thin with a molded pattern similar to ones you might find on Irish Belleek porcelain. Sweet pink roses encircle the borders inside the cup, outside the cup and around the saucer...

DESCRIPTION: An attractive antique Chinese stoneware jar with wide body and outward turning rim, hand crafted with a pleasing celadon glaze over a raised border of circular designs. In original firing condition and dating from the early 20th C. Though the origin is Chinese, this crock would lend a nice touch of "country" in a cottage or farmhouse setting. Rare Japanese kakiemon ware porcelain jar. Of a tapered melon shape, with circular floral enso motifs of bamboo, blossoming cherry branches, hydrangea, kiri leaves. The Imperial dragon and phoenix paired to represent the emperor and empress. With overglaze green, red, and blue on white bisque ground. The domed lid topped with karakusa (octopus vine) and kiri leaf pattern.

DESCRIPTION: A fine Chinese boxwood water-well basket toggle, intricately carved in an acorn shape with a realistic and detailed basket weave pattern with carved wood rim. The arched overhead handle has a free-carved wood ring attached; the interior is hollowed out. Excellent condition, a beautiful toggle, 19th C. For a similar example see: Schuyler Cammann, Substance and Symbol in Chinese Toggles, #188, p.228. DIMENSIONS: 1-3/4” high.

A very heavy key with kidney-shaped bow and a very thick stem and bit. Remnants of copper plating on the surface.
