Chinese carved jade model of a brilliant green chloromelonite jadeite oval plaque, with qilin beneath pine, and verso with phoenix and flowering branch motifs (possibly color enhanced but not tested). An Indonesian Yogya .800 silver tea strainer. This 5-3/4" long pierced tea server features a prettily engraved figure from the traditional Indonesian Wayang Kulit (shadow) theatre. It weighs 27.9 grams and it has a twisted stem and a tab for holding it onto the glass or cup. It is stamped 800 with a maker's mark (we were unable to identify the maker) - it appears to be an H with a B in centre...

Hand carved rosewood and sterling silver salad or serving set designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling.
