One of the best Spratling treasures is this V cuff . It is big at 163 grams and 3in. tall on the front angle. It currently is 2.5in. at the inner diameter. Hallmarks shown are noted in the book Spratling Silver A Field Guide by Phyllis M. Goddard to be 1st phase. The jewel has been well kept with no dents and the very pretty stones have natural inclusions as to be expected. This is an unusual design in a Matl bracelet properly hallmarked for the early part of Matilde Poulat's career. This treasure is 6.5 in. long and 1.25in. tall. The coral frames the amethyst giving it an elegant presence.The bracelet has a natural patina and has been very well cared for. The amethyst are clear with no damage. The weight is 52 grams.

Very early, c. 1930, silver fish pin with a turquoise cabachon eye by Taxco artist Fred Davis. This pin is featured on page 80 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. One of his most famous pieces, this pin measures 3" by 1 1/8" and is in fine original condition with a great patina. It is signed for Fred Davis as shown in the photo. A wonderful pin!

This striking silver & amethyst necklace was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pendant measures 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" & weighs 70 grams. Frank Patania Sr. (1899-1964) designed this textured necklace in the 1950's. The center panel measures 1 1/4" high x 1 5/8" across. The wearable length is 17" and can be adjusted down to 15" if desired. The necklace weighs 46 grams & is in beautiful condition with a warm, aged patina. Patania's FP STERLING hallmarks are found on the back of the necklace.

This is a heavy set by Victoria weighing 84 grams. 7/8th inch tall and 16 in. long. The silver is soft to the touch. The swirl inside the dome appears to be hand carved but is hand cut with each swirl a bit different. The open cut makes it appear to be darkened. The earrings dangle 1.25in. with a screw back mechanism. Rarely found just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
