This is the silver "pillow" bracelet by William Spratling. It is from his first design period, 1931-1946. Measuring 8" around in the inside and 1 1/8" wide, it has a pin closure and is in fine original condition. It weighs 86 grams and is featured on page 43 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. This is one of Spratlings' most recognizable bracelets and one of the most beautiful.

Today we have a signed Hector Aguilar necklace that was crafted before 1948. Jose Flores was allowed to also have his initials on some designs made in Aguilars shop and this is one of those pieces. The necklace is 17in. long and is .75in. tall. The silver is thick with a weight of 76 grams which is quite heavy with links that are open with space. Bold and beautiful sterling and black onyx bracelet by Los Ballesteros. I believe this is originally an Antonio Pineda design. These are V shaped links with onyx inset into the sides. Each link is hinged and moves. It is in fine original condition, no chips or cracks to the stones. It measures 8 1/4" end to end and is 1 1/2" wide. This a beautiful armadillo necklace designed by Valentin Vidaurreta and produced by Manuel Altamirano. It was also produced by Hector Aguilar. The necklace is 16 1/2" end to end and 1 1/2" wide at the center rounded square. Circa 1945-50, it is in fine original condition. The black velvet appears to be original to the piece. Signed as shown. Altimirano also worked for Hector Aguilar at the Taller Borda. His pieces with his own hallmark are scarce and this necklace is exquisite.

We have a gorgeous William Spratling signed cuff with scalloped edges. There are 6 solid gold discs that line up across the center of the bracelet. On top of that is a solid silver thick wire. The color is a beautiful almost pure white silver. The diameter across is 2.5in. and the gap is 1.5in. Striking with a tall 1.75in. presence. The weight is 92 grams of quality workmanship.
