BeautifulIy crafted in the Renaissance Revival style, this wonderful footed bronze coffer has a rich variety of scenes on all sides and on top, and is lined with dark blue twill fabric.
The case measures 10 3/8" x 6 3/4", x 5 1/4" high, and sits on four pad feet in the shape of fierce animal heads that extend about 1/2" out from each corner.
The top panel depicts a hunting scene, set in a lush forest with flowers and birds, 6 figures, 8 dogs, and a woman riding a unicorn sidesaddle...
Antique red-painted country tall chest, New England, circa 1830. Pine with original red surface and original brass hardware. Five graduated drawers; high feet with unusual shaped, scrolled skirt in the front and sides. Size: 47 inches ht. x 38.25 inches width x 19 inches depth. Minor surface imperfections.
18th century New England round tilt-top hutch/chair table. Pine. Size: 46 inches diameter x 28 inches ht. Shoe feet, scrolled arms, sliding seat storage compartment in base. Top may be pegged closed as a table or hinged to an upright position in order to save space and used as a chair. The seat in the base slides out to reveal storage beneath. Condition: refinished but with an attractive mellow surface with old patch repair to top (see photos). Nice overhang allows for plenty of leg room.
Antique Blackhawk trotting horse weathervane. Copper with old surface and traces of original gilding. Offered with a custom iron display stand. No directionals. Circa 1890-1900. Nice condition with no splits or bullet holes (one dimple from a bullet, but does not puncture). Size: 26 inches length x 17 inches ht.
An attractive New England Queen Anne period six-drawer tall chest on frame in birdseye and curly maple. Circa 1760. Size: 61.75 in. ht. x 44 in. width x 20 in. depth. Chippendale style brasses are later replacements. Some professional repairs. A beautiful chest.
This is an unusual set of Club chairs, They are from the 1930's , They have all their original leather. They sit quite firm, but are comfortable nonetheless. They are in solid condition with age appropriate nicks and minor scratches. They are almost identical except two of them have a steeper pitch to the backs. I purchased these from a dealer in Frontenac in the Bordeaux region. They measure: Measures L-36", W-36". H-31" Seat depth- 23", seat width-19"
An Early American Queen Anne tiger maple highboy of a rare, small size. Circa 1760. New Hampshire origin. Size: 39 inches wide x 62.5 inches high x 21.5 inches deep. This two-part highboy is fashioned from strongly figured tiger maple, with pine secondary woods. The flat top upper chest features a dovetailed cornice molding and two drawers over three graduated drawers; the base with three drawers and supported on cabriole legs with pad feet...
This is a rare find! We just had to restore this amazing set of four matching Gendarme Club Chairs. Originally circa 1940's, these beauties deserved a second life. Recovered with our signature winter sheepskin, they offer a deep, full, comfortable seat. Hook a leg over one of these and you will fall in love. We would prefer to find a home for all four together, but are willing to sell as pairs as well.

The trunk measures 44 inches long (112 cm); 22.5 inches deep (57 cm); 23 inches high (58 cm). The trunk has both leather handles, they may have been replaced years ago. Early American Chippendale tall chest, Pennsylvania origin. Circa 1760-1780. Size: 64 1/2 inches ht. x 45 3/8 inches wide x 23 1/2 inches deep. Figured walnut. This chest has three horizontally positioned top drawers above five finely graduated drawers, flanked with fluted quarter columns, and supported on ogee form bracket feet. Older replaced oval brass bail pulls. Excellent antique condition.
New England Federal bow-front chest with strongly figured tiger maple drawer fronts. Circa 1810-1820. Probably Massachusetts origin. This Hepplewhite maple chest has four graduated drawers veneered in tiger maple, and retaining the original stamped brass oval pulls with eagle motifs.
