Lovely group of 3 Mingqi pottery figures, partly glazed in green and painted with black, red and yellow pigments. Detacheable heads and hands. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The dating of this group is consistent with the results of TL-test no. 05231113 by Laboratory Ralf Kotalla. H. 29 cm. Nice burial condition with expected age wear. Please check my other listing with a similar group from the same excavation.

Description:

A Longquan celadon censer was uniquely in tripod form.
Uniquely also was the gourd body and the decorations on the surface.
The censer was heavily potted concerning it's size.
And it was fat-glazed.
The glaze was in slightly darken green tint.
Crackles and glaze fret were resulted due to age.
Supported stylized by three evert feet, it was presented as a beautiful item as a true old piece by all the characteristics revealed...

Chinese late Ming dynasty crackle-glazed porcelain pear-shaped vase with bulbous base, waisted neck, and flaring mouth decorated with scattered underglaze blue cobalt butterflies and leafy fruited and flowering twigs. The white glaze has a faint gray hue with darker gray geyao-type crackles. The glazed base bears an underglaze blue square form "yu tang jei qi" mark (an excellent ware from the hall of jade). Description: A fantastic boxwood carving of a court lady was carved by famous contemporary artist Won Du-Fun in 1990s. As a registered national honoured artist, Won made numerous works of art which had been collected by the national galleries and museums. A certificate is accompanied with the fine piece. A custom-made silk box is included. Condition: The stem of the flower was once broken and had been re-stuck back. Height: 32cm. .

Description: A fine jade pendant was carved in a shape of a gourd enwind with vines, leaves, stalks and plums. By the excellent quality of a Hou-Tien jade which was in slight greenish tint and had a lovely transparent look, the pebble was maneuvered skillfully depicting the full gourd with twisted leaves, tendrils, blossoming flowers and the strong stems. A detailed work of a jade piece with such a fine quality was so sweet to hold on...

The square porcelain bodies decorated with moulded lattice work, decorated in blue with long life (shou) characters. Qianlong period (1736-1795). Dimensions: 12x7,8x7,8 cm. Condition: the right caddy has two small hairlines to the mouth and a long hairline in the body. (See pictures). Lovely and rare set, made for the domestic Market.

Description: One ancient Tibet bronze Tara Buddha was preserved in a fine condition except some restoration to the covered bottom. By a greasy darken patina, the Tara was casted with serene facial features and stylized sitting posture. Date: 14th/15th Century, Height: 12.1cm, Width: 9.1cm.

Description: An old bronze figure was nicely rendered in details. By a fine bronze material, the craftsman casted and depicted the daoist character in a very good skill. Wearing a gourd in the waist, the deity Lan Tsi-Ho who was one of the eight deities from a famous folklore blow his flute in an easy and casual mood. By a well preserved black patina, the bronze piece was in perfect condition when a later made Zitan stand was added as an adequate match...

Description: A beautiful ivory sachet was carved in open work. With archaic patterns as the ground decoration, swirling dragons were carved vividly on both sides. The sachet can be used as a pendant when the cap was removable and a perfume dipped cotton can be easily put into it. Date: Early 20th Century.

Made of gilt brass, decorated with kingfisher feathers. Seed pearls and beads..in the centre a crane, on the left a flower vase and on the right a gourd. Dimensions: 15x6 cm. Late 19th century. Condition: age wear and missing parts.

This is a lovely famille verte emanel on biscuit stand having a Mongolian leading a horse through a sparse landscape; the contoured edge is finished with a floral border in excellent condition. Measurements: 8" x 8".

A Cizhou ceramic pillow with an ivory colored glaze which continues to a little above the base. The center of the headrest is painted fluidly with a floral spray in a brown iron pigment while a loose band of three freely incised lines encircle the flower. The base is left unglazed. Period: Song (10th Century) Size: Width = 23.5 cm (9-1/4 inches) Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. Some loss of the glaze on both top edges.

Chinese late Qing to early Republic period ceramic modeled container shaped like a "ha ma," or toad, with a hollow body and flat base covered in a monochrome pearl glaze with a seeded finish. Measures about 10 ½”L x 9 ¼”W x 6”H. There are some old surface cracks visible. The back section appears to have been restored and the gray areas in the pearl glaze appear to be old restorations which were executed in China...

By ferocious features and animated postures, the fairy animals were rendered deliberately in every detail. From the characteristic features including the grooved spines, strenuous hips, legs, and claws, and the tiger-like heads, this carving piece embodied all the essential points in authenticating the Han date...

Pair late Qing dynasty porcelain bowls. Overglaze decoration in blue and green enamel of peonies. Also decorated with inscriptions in gilt enamel and chop marks in red enamel. The rims an intentional, attractive caramel colored burnt biscuit. Apocryphal Qianlong seal marks in blue under the glaze. One in good condition with only minor enamel loss and light rubbing inside the bowl. The other also with an old, small area of repair along the outside of the rim...

Description: With incurving rim, a small Jun bowl was shaped elegantly. In two purple splashed strokes, the bowl was added with more charming atmosphere. Being glazed over all inside and outside of the surface, the bowl’s foot ring was left unglazed in a firm and regular shape. Incursions were amid the glaze cracks when earth was adherent to the pinheads of the burst bubbles. Date: Song or Jin period(AD960-1234). Width: 9 cm
