A glass brushrest was in beautiful mountain view.
Well mold and was preserved in perfect condition, it was a nice scholar item for resting a brush pen.

Description: A granite stone candlestick stand was carved as a female lion and cub playing with a embroidered ball. Holding in the mouth with the thread, the mother lion was teasing the cub who was chasing the ball clumsily. With old darkened patina, there was a hole on the back of the mother lion. The hole was intended as a fasten place for wooden candlestick. Date: Qing Dynasty Length: 14cm Height: 13cm Depth: 7.5cm Condition: A minor old chip on the tip of the mother lion's nose.

Description: A strand of rosaries was assembled by 108 pieces of old Zhi-Tan beads. Among them, old coral and elephant bone beads were decorated. Old beads were getting hard to find. All these beads were believed from Tibet, now were ingeniously strung as a decoration item. Date: Late 19th Century.

A well painted late 19th Century Chinese Moon Flask decorated with scrolling lotus design and with panels on each side depicting two confronting dragons. There are two 'chilong' dragons on the shoulders. This item was made during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there is a 4cm (1.5 inch) hairline running from the rim and an old chip to the back of one of the chilong dragons...

Large Chinese late Qing Guangxu period cylindrical form censer decorated in underglaze blue against a white porcelain ground with a faint blue-green tint with a pair of four-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl above waves. The interior is glazed while the base is unglazed. 7 1/2" high x 8" diameter. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small amount of staining to the interior.

This is an attractive early satsuma Koro or incense burner with very fine workmanship. I believe it may be pre-1900 because it appears to have been made with thicker mercury fired gold. Lid and bottom piece are both marked with a museum inventory number. The lid has been repaired and it looks quite good. The images show where it was broken. It stands about 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. It is signed but I do not recognize the signature.

Description: A finely gilt bronze Tibetan figure was in an image of three faces and with eight hands. She was one of the three longevity deities in the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon, along with Amitayus and White Tara. By a striking look, the bronze was kept in a perfect condition. Date: Late 19th century,

Nicely rendered carvings were preserved in very good condition when darken patina was yielded on the surface.
By a good size, a brush pen can be the indispensible addition to the collection of Chinese scholar items as it was always being a hard to find item.
And when it was made by nice hardwood material.

Alternating dragon and floral reserves on a patterned red ground centering three friends of Winter (pine, bamboo, prunus) medallion.
