A beautiful and rare glass stupa from the Pyu area.Most of the glass has turned into a beautiful iridescent color which gives a wonderful feeling to this piece. The stupa is unusual as it has a hollow opening in the center. Age: 100 AD. Size: H. 1.9cm. W. At the base. 1.9cm. Condition: A small piece is missing at the base and because it is iridescent at the part also it probably was made that way.

Large Chinese porcelain jardiniere or fish bowl with wide mouth and flattened rim decorated with gilt crabs and fish swimming among aquatic plants on a powder blue ground. Unglazed foot and base. Qing dynasty (late 19th century). 12 ¼”H x 14 ¼” diameter. Weighs about 18 lbs. Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. Some soiling to the interior from use and typical wear to the gilt decoration. This piece was purchased from an Arizona collection.

This is a medium size blue and white bowl with Three Friends of Winter motif, namely pine, bamboo and prunus tree. The centre of the bowl has a rondal of a five claws dragon. Base with Guanxu (1875 -1908) mark in under glazed blue. Circa late 19th – early 20th century.

The bowl is in good condition. Only minor pin holes and minute firing faults (see picture 4) which does not affect the aesthetic of the bowl...

Description: A rare and lovely Yaozhou russet-glazed incense burner was in simple form. Wide-mouthed and with high-set shoulders when the neck is narrowed and the lip is rolled, the jarlet was applied with persimmon glaze inside and out of the surface. The bottom was flat and was concaved to a round circle. The unglazed base had turned to a buff skin during firing, and in a firm quality which were all the characteristics for a Yaozhou ware.
