The finely-crackled and thin pale straw-coloured glaze was used sparingly, covering only the inner and outer edges of the dish, as well as the inner and upper outer surfaces of the cups. Description: A rare excavation piece of a jadeite snuff bottle was in beautiful greenish tint and with obvious incursions. Even with un-satisfactory cracks which was due to long time of burial, the snuff bottle was in stable condition and the hollowing craftsmanship was quite good. A saintly recluse dozes restfully, his pole dipping to the waves below the rocky outcrop upon which he sits; a fine bronze figure dating to the Meiji period and signed on the reverse. The figure with the rock is 32 x 22 x 30.5 cm (11 x 9 x 12 inches) and is in fine condition.

Condition is good except a double fine hairline to the rim each approximately 2.5 cm long, firing crack to the base and a bit warped, further in perfect condition with no any chips and free from restoration. Diameter: 19.3 cm.

Description: A Zitan lotus-bud water basin was well carved. By a fine quality, the wood piece was preserved with enduring purplish black patina on the surface. Abrasions and minor frits were found on the outer rims. Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Width: 7.6cm, Height: 4.2cm.

This is a lovely famille verte emanel on biscuit stand having a Mongolian leading a horse through a sparse landscape; the contoured edge is finished with a floral border in excellent condition. Measurements: 8" x 8".

Chinese plaque done in Qianjiang style with a crane flying over with a tree in the scene. There is a poem written in black ink in the upper left corner with a seal in iron red below it. The plaque has an overall orange-peel effect on the surface.

Condition is very good, no breaks or cracks. Some minor wear to the enamels

This charming antique purse from Tibet was hand-made to be worn hanging from a waist belt. Lacking ornamentation, is was probably a daily use item to hold coins. A simple endless knot toggle is used for closure. The purse is 3.5 inches at the widest point.

This unusual pair of Chinese dolls were made with wire bodies covered with fabric padding and then silk clothing. Their heads, lower arms and feet are made from some kind of composition material and then painted. Because of their wire construction, their arms, legs, and bodies etc can be carefully repositioned. The feet are wired together to provide a more stable base...it is a theory which frankly does not always work well.

Description: A Longquan ewer was mold in a lovely size.
Being applied with characteristic celadon glaze, the ewer was exquisitely mold in a typical shape of a handled ewer pot.
The ewer stands by a well shaped foot ring which the revealed body clay was in pale gray tint when the charming firing-red was obviously developed.
The celadon glaze is beautiful and milky condition were obvious too.
In a lovely size and great glaze condition, incursions were nevertheless happened to the spout...

Beautiful antique Tibetan silver torquoise coral pendant scent or snuff bottle. Beautiful quality antique piece. Has two loops to wear as a pendant top has been glued to stay on. Measuring 2.5" long 1 3/4" wide and 1" deep.

This traditional Han child's silk hat is wonderfully embroidered with floral scenes around the brim, butterflies and birds around the sections of the crown, while tassels accentuate the upturned morterboard. The long draped wind protector section at the back shows fade line...otherwise the hat is in excellant condition.

This small and attractive pottery model of a camel was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a reddish-brown pottery that has been cold-painted in a base coat of white with yellow-ochre and reddish-brown pigments on top. The camel stands upright with its head slightly raised.
