Description:

A green-glazed jarlet was mold in a trumpet form.
On the wide shoulder, a circular band of flower motifs were decorated in a fine look.
It was well preserved except some old frets were found on the rims.
Fine crackles and iridescence condition were yielded due to age.

This tip was decorated with three bats (means well-being in Chinese pronunciation) amid swirling cloud and ru-yi motifs in open work surrounding the golden ball...

A carved wooden box with removable lid revealing a container for matches and tobacco slotted in the side to carry a Kiseru pipe. Exquisitely crafted by a man who both understood design and wood grains, it is likely from the arts and crafts era. It is 5-1/2 x 3-1/2 x 5 inches (14 x 9 x 13 cm) and is in overall fine condition, with wear to the base attesting to age.

Chinese Qing dynasty compressed globular form porcelain brush washer covered overall in a rich flambé glaze with a jun-like quality. The base is has an applied bronze wash and the foot rim is unglazed. The edge of the rim is bordered with a thin, geyao type crackled white glaze. A celadon mallet-shaped vase, decorated on vertical faces with two moulded lugs in the form of Dragons. Covered overall with olive green glaze. Chinese 14th-15th century Longquan ware. Excellent condition, no chips, crack or restored. High: 15.6 cm.

Description: One small but uniquely cast bronze censer was in decent look. Made of fine quality of metal material, the bronze censer was in good weight of 208 gram when in a lovely size of 6.1 cm in width and 4.6cm in height. By a unique trumpet form, the bronze bowl was easy to hold in the palms feeling the warmth, sniffing the aroma of the burning incense when in incense practicing ritual. It could be well used as a water basin or paper weight too...

A Chinese Ming longquan Zhejiang celadon censer. Robustly potted bombé sides, the exterior is decorated with a cross hatched pattern, the bowl standing on three feet.

Dated to Ming Dynasty - 16th century

Condition: In generally very good condition. No major breaks or chips. There are some very minor surface imperfections due to the use of the item, but nothing that detracts from it's beauty.

A good found in south Sulawesi area of Ming Longquan celadon with fluted sides to the interior and exterior, incised to the center with a peony blossom, covered overall with banana leaf green, a circular stand scars appear to the unglazed area. Early Ming dynasty 15th century in perfect condition, excepted minor glaze fault to interior. Diameter: 24.3cm.

A very unusual huanghuali scholar's container made of one solid piece of wood. There is no plug at the base. These types of designs are very desirable for collectors of huanghuali pieces. Magnificent Japanese Red Raku (Aka-Raku) Tea Bowl made during Edo period. Raku pottery is traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremony since as early as the 16th century. A fantastic large tsubo vase by ceramic artist Teramoto Mamoru (1949-present) enclosed in the original signed wooden box. In spite of its size (almost 15 inches (37cm) tall), it is surprisingly light, and the colors are phenomenal. The slightly grooved surface is scored with primitive lines arching upward, filled with slip before firing. The artists signature is on the base of the piece, which is about 15 years old...

A set of Mandarin squares, comprising a front and a back, dating around 1900. Insignia for a court official's wife, with appliqued silver pheasant bird, denoting the fifth rank. Gold and silver metallic threads couched on violetta silk, lined with blue silk. Condition: traces of age, little faded, back badge with short tear (please see photo # 10), lining little stained. Description: A cute tiger figure was carved from one nephrite Houtien jade pebble. Vietnamese 15th Century Blue & White Double-Gourd Jar

This rare and attractively-shaped small double-gourd jar was made during the 15th century. It is coated in a finely-crackled glaze and elaborately decorated in underglaze blue, the pattern featuring scrolling floral and lotus leaf patterns. Height 7 cm. It is in very good condition with no repair or restoration and just minor “nibbling” to the edge of the vulnerable mouth.

Description:

A pottery scroll holder was mold and carved in tree-trunk shape.
By strong scholar taste, the pottery vessel was used for storing scrolls or brush pens.
Short verses Jin Cao(Sturdy Weeds), traditional Chinese calender date Yi Chao Nien and a stamp inscriptions were well rendered by affluent carving skills.

Made of grey pottery. Length 34 cm, height 29 cm. Good condition, minor chips to the ears. Comes with a thermoluminescence test from Kotalla. Han Dynasty (296BC-220AD). At our gallery we have ca. 50 pieces of pottery on display.

Green glazed to square cut foot rim, exposing grey body burnt red. Decorated with ferruginous brown spots in triplicate. H= 8.5 cm W=11 cm Period : 14th century, Longquan Kilns, Zhejiang Condition : jar has one firing fault on the rim, the lid has chips and was restored.

This attached pair of red silk embroidered strips would have been worn as an accessory on the back of a man's hat so that they draped down the nobleman's back. There are mirror images of 2 pairs dragons on each side, embroidered with metal threads. Excellant condition and approx 30 inches in length.

Large Chinese Qing dynasty naturalistic form wood scroll pot carved from a single piece of wood with human figures, a monkey holding the peach of immortality, and other creatures extending around the exterior.
