Chinese Jin Dynasty Pottery Filial Piety Tile - Wang Wuzi

This moulded pottery tile was made during the Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) and was most likely excavated from Shanxi province. It is made from a relatively highly-fried grey pottery. Filial piety was, and still is, an important part of Chinese culture. This tile depicts a scene from one of the twenty-four paragons of filial piety, that of Wang Wuzi:

A porcelain water basin in charming celadon glaze was in a flatten form.
Sit on the flat bottom, the water basin was decorated on the surface with circular rings which separated the surface in three sections.

On top, under the steep mouth rim, small circles in rings were surrounded around.
In the center, there're adjacent rhombuses.

A Qinbai covered box from Hutien kiln of Song Dynasty was kept in perfect condition.
In beautiful floral shape and decorated patterns on the cover, the characteristic chalk-like body clay was revealed from the light lake-green glaze.

Description:
A lovely Jizhou bowl was applied with rarely-seen agate-like glaze.
By the dark chocolate-brown glaze underneath, strings of bead-like mottles were decorated in the cavetto.
On the outer surface, whitish brown effects were randomly yielded.

Description: A cut-glaze Cizhou ewer pot was finely rendered.
By affluent carving skill, the potter decorated on the upper portion of the body with motifs of peony flowers and scrolling leaves and stems.
Added on the side with a leaf-like handle, the ewer was used by pouring liquid from the short spout

Description: A black-glazed water dropper was from famous Ding kiln.
Characteristically the body clay revealed was in dense and greasy feel quality.

A Jizhou tea bowl was applied with dark brown nearing black glaze on the surface.
Uniquely and characteristically, a leaf motif was decorated on the surface.
By greasy-feel quality of the characteristic Jizhou glaze, the surface was covered with slight burial adhesives when subtle crackles were rendered in the glaze underneath.
By also convincing look of the body clay which revealed at the bottom in soft quality, the foot ring was surrounded by shallow wall...

Fine Pair of Tall Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Dragon Jars

A Jiangyang Temmoko bowl was decorated with radiating russet splashes on the surface.
It was a rare type of this kind in Jiangyang wares.
Enduring old crackles were yielded naturally in the glaze when retrospective sheen was reflected on the surface.

This rare and unusual pottery tile was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). It features two standing officials, each having been impressed into the clay. Height 26.5cm, width 24cm, depth 5cm. Some wear and old chips to the edges but no repair or restoration.

Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl - 15th Century (Ex. Grahame Clarke collection)

This attractive blue & white porcelain bowl was made c. 1470 - 1490. It is quite heavily-potted and coated in a crackled glaze. Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Buddhist Pottery Lotus Leaf Jar - Dharma Wheel

This interesting pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. Description:

A Junyao dish was in charming bluish tint when strokes of purple splashes were on the side for decoration.
By nice curving of the surface, and the well defined foot ring, the dish was supposed being used as a brush-licker for adjusting the moisture of the brush hair.
Enduring through the long age, the foggy incursion in beige tint was yielded on the rim and along the rising portion by obvious characteristics.
