Famille rose plates with a rabbit in a grassy meadow surrounded by rocky cliffs, flowers and a bird perching high on a flowering branch looking down. All surrounded by a flowering prunis border against a brown scroll background. The back of the plate left bear. No mark.

Condition: This lot consists of 5 plates. Each plate is in excellent condition, no cracks or chips. Some very minor wear to the enamels.

Tibetan thangka densely painted in gouache on cloth with a scene featuring the seven-tiered dark blue Mahottara Heruka, the wrathful form of the Buddha and principle wrathful diety of the bardo, depicted standing on a lotus throne with multiple heads, arms, and legs and surrounded by a flaming aureole in consort with Krodheshvari shown lying on a tiger’s skin. An attractive bowl and cover delicately painted in Fencai (famille rose) enamels. This item carries the mark of the Tongzhi Emperor and was made during his reign - 1862-1874. 5 inches (13cm) High. A marble scholar water basin was preserved in perfect condition.
Well hollowed, the water basin was in nice oval and flat form.
Some ink residue was left inside the basin.

One fan painting features beauties at a temple surrounded by clouds holding celestial maidens and a deer. A monkey is paying homage to a female who is seated on a lotus throne. Description:

A Tin caddy was intriguingly made within a knarled wood trunk.
In nice form and casual mood, this tea caddy owned the very taste of Chinese scholars'.
Old patina was preserved well on the surface of the wood and the metal alike.

Arrow vase of rectangular sectioned, lozenge form tapering from the broad, flared foot toward more gradually flared rim. Typical tubular decorative devices flanking the neck. The rim apparently polished down a little and reglazed (perhaps trying to match the caramel colored glaze found inside the foot.) Some loss to one of the tubular devices and less consequentially from the foot where glaze overflow was also ground flush. Otherwise acceptable and presentable condition. 19th century...

Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty red flambe-glazed Buddhist lion dogs seated on plinths. The female is playing with a cub and the male's left forepaw rests on a ball. Custom carved wood stands. 9 1/4" high (10 7/8" high on the stand). 19th century. From a Paradise Valley, Arizona estate.

Description: A jade bangle was beautifully carved on the surface with motif of a swirling dragon. In celadon-white tint, the jade piece was in greasy-feel quality while some incursions had been caused into the hardstone.May not being as a pure white piece, the jade bracelet still owned an old atmosphere in the sheen of the retrospective reflection. Large Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain wash basin decorated in underglaze blue with leafy vines and sweet pea flowers set against a white ground with a pale blue tint. The exterior holds three flying bats. There are small amounts of kiln grit adhering to the unglazed foot rim. The base is glazed. 13 3/8” diameter x about 4 1/2” high. 19th century. A finely decorated enamelled porcelain figure of a lady made in China, probably for export, during the second half of the 19th century - circa 1850 to 1900. Condition very good - two leaves are missing from the flower but no other damages and no restoration...

A rare huanghuali clapper with three beautiful pieces of huanghuali. The two outer clappers are rounded at the tops while the center piece is flat on both sides.The sound of the wooden clappers sets the rhythm of the music as well as some of the actions of the performers. This is a small Chinese Blanc de Chine libation cup, incised character mark at base, carved and molded with flowering prunus and animals; 2 _" high, 4" wide.

This pair of Kingfisher hair ornaments are from my personal collection. The kingfisher bird feathers are in very good condition and the ornaments are 4 inches across at their widest point. Each piece has its original hair pin attached to the paper back with a wire.
