A nice famille jaune bat motive tea cup. It has a Tonzhi seal mark both on the cover and the base of the cup and is of the period.

A minor manufacturing flaw on the cover (photo 2)and five hair lines as shown in the photos 4 and 5. two with stain and the other can be seen at certain angle only. Other than that, it is in fine condition, no chip or repair.

The height of the tea cup is 9cm and the diameter is 11.2cm

This old Chinese toggle would have been used for ornamentation on the costumes of both Han and ethnic minority Chinese. The toggle would be sewn on a jacket or hooked onto a belt. Low grade silver was used extensively in China for jewelry and ornaments during the late 19th century.

These two snuff bottles are Peking glass, created to look like gemstone, one jade, one agate. Both measure 2 3/4" high and have stoppers, but no spoon attached. (The darker stopper may be stone, as it has considerable inclusions and is heavy). Both are well done, and give the appearance of stone.
