A fine Qing Dynasty, Tongzhi period (1861-1875) bowl with a unique shape and vivid colors inside and out. Artistic and finely distinct embossed painted design on the exterior of the bowl.

Description: A full scale(quan-kai) paper painting of ink and colors was from a famous Qing painter Ren Xun(1835-1893).
Well rendered, the figures and scenes were finished by excellent maneuvering of the master painter’s brush strokes.
Defects were observed though, the ancient painting had been well restored and framed by a master Chinese painting restoring expert Lin Mao Long who have done a lot of works for the Palace Museum of Taipei.

Description: A nephrite Houtien jade carving was very well rendered as two monkeys. By a good-wished metaphor of Being High Ranking Officials Generations after Generations, the monkey mother was holding hands with baby monkey face to face. In a celadon tint, the jade piece was done by traditional craftsmanship. It is a very good example for Chinese jade carving for the characteristics of jade carving skills and jade material. Description:
An ivory pendant was nicely carved with exquisite patterns.
In motifs of five bats(Fu, good fortune) surrounding a archaic character-Sou(Longevity) expressing the good metaphor, and scrolling clouds on the rim as decoration, this ivory piece was believed having been hanged as a lucky charm by the noble people.
An old drilling hole was on the side for stringing.
The tint on the surface of the ivory was somehow darken due to age.

Chinese late Qing dynasty sang-de-boeuf (oxblood) flambé glazed cylindrical form censer. The oxblood glaze drips inside at the rim above the thick off-white glaze lining the interior. The censer rests upon vestiges of three small tripod legs. The base is unglazed and has burnt orange. This old Chinese toggle would have been used for ornamentation on the costumes of both Han and ethnic minority Chinese. The toggle would be sewn on a jacket or hooked onto a belt. Low grade silver was used extensively in China for jewelry and ornaments during the late 19th century.

Making use the fine quality Huali wood, the scholar piece was rendered delicately on the top around the rims of the hole and around the top. Pair of Chinese yoke back arm chairs. Late 19th century. Shanxi province. Elmwood. Dimensions: 43.5 inches height x 25.25 inches width x 22 inches depth. Seat height is 19.5 inches. Pair of .800 silver dishes with fierce dragons and other insect or sea creature, on a stipled background, the edge decorated with stamped arrow designs. This is a blue and white Chinese Export miniature "Long Eliza" trumpet-lipped vase comprising molded lobed panels having ladies and foliage in the Kang Hsi style, bearing a jade mark on the underside, It is in excellent condition and measures 4 1/2 in. approx.

These two snuff bottles are Peking glass, created to look like gemstone, one jade, one agate. Both measure 2 3/4" high and have stoppers, but no spoon attached. (The darker stopper may be stone, as it has considerable inclusions and is heavy). Both are well done, and give the appearance of stone. The "jade" bottle has a very soft sheen, similar to what actual jade would look like, and has a small foot. Both in good condition, the jade one with a slight chip on the lip. Large wooden sculpture of an Arhat, a disciple of Buddha. An impressive and well carved piece with a very nice expression and with the original polychrome. H. 68 cm. The Guanyin seated on a lotus throne, accompanied by two attendants. At the back of the figure there is an opening where offerings or religious texts were kept. By sound structure and well track-moved lid, the wood box was yielded with charming brownish patina on the surface inside and out.
Darken hue was accumulated in portions due to enduring age.

This is a classic 19th century Chinese rose medallion vase, of baluster form with gilt fu-dog ring handles and painted with brightly colored alternating reserves of figures and flowers; condition: damage to one ring handle; measurement: 14 _ in.

Large Chinese famille rose porcelain jardiniere with wide mouth and flattened rim enameled in bright pigments with a figural scene extending around the circumference. Diaper pattern band below rim. Four Foo Dog seals. Two carved, two blank. Two made of ivory, one of black stone and one of red stone.The Foo dog is also known as the celestial dog and happiness dog. Chinese Qing dynasty natural root form scholar’s bitong, or brushpot. 7 1/2” high. The base measures about 6” diameter at the longest part. The rim is about 4 5/8” across at the widest part. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very good overall condition. There is a short crack at the inner rim that extends to the interior of one thin concave area on the exterior. This piece is from the private collection of former American expatriates to Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s.
