In bhumisparsa mudra. The eyes inlaid with glass or seashell. Condition: the head broken and repaired at the neck ( old repair) , the ushnisha slightly curved. The red and blue painting on the base are later. Lovely piece with beautifyl patina. H. 37 cm. From a Dutch private collection.

Decorated with two panels with landscapes, surrounded by flowers. This kendi was exported to Indonesia where the silver mounts were added, most probably in the 19th century. Description:
A Jizhou bowl was applied with dark brown nearing black glaze on the surface.
Characteristically and famously a leaf pattern was applied in the cavetto.
By greasy-feel quality belong to the Jizhou glaze, the surface was spread with subtle crackles which were caused by the age.
The body clay revealed at the bottom was in soft and loosening quality which was in line with the characteristics of the dated Jizhou wares...

A particular round Chinese silver salver, standing on three taotie feet. The curved sides decorated with flowers and auspicious Chinese characters in open-work. The convex well with engraved decoration of four masqueraded actors. The base with a three Chinese character mark reading "Han Tian Bao", a silversmith active c. 1890 - 1930 in Tientsin, and another round character mark...
Turquoise glaze, with hieroglyphes saying: ' Ipethemhes, son of Hathor em Akhet.' H. 16,5 cm. Good condition. From a Dutch private collection. Late Period (ca. 712-332BC).
An excavated piece with lovely age wear. Tang Dynasty (618-906). The head is 7,5 cm high, with stand it is 18,5 cm high.

A large vase by Takahashi Dohachi and decorated by Hashimoto Dokuzan enclosed in the original wooden box signed by both artists. Also, stored in a separate compartment is a wooden stand which appears to have once been part of a temple or altar. The vase is covered in a typical crackled Kyo-yaki glaze, and decorated in cobalt with two figures in a watery landscape, one fishing, the other on top of a stone playing the flute...

An antique wood statue of the Boddhisattva Wei Tuo, the guardian of the Buddhist principles, dating to the late Qing dynasty. Carved in two parts with gilding and red color. He is standing on a rock imitating base, dressed as a warrior and holding the vajra staff. Condition: one hand with tiny losses, parts of scarf missing, top of helmet with a lost insert, vajra staff, one hand and back with glued patches. Dimension: total height: 38.5 cm, figure: 31.5 cm, weight: 1300 g.
