A black-glazed Jianyang tea bowl was in lovely size.
Uniquely and rarely-seen, it was decorated inside the bowl with splashed white mottles.
Obvious incursions had happened to the glaze resulting in the earthen and foggy look.
That includes the bursting holes of the glaze bubbles.
Wiry crackles can be observed too.
The darken body clay revealed was in enduring old look and was covering with grayish oxidation...

Description:

A root wood carving was intriguingly made to imitate a crane standing on the mountain top in stylized posture.
By two pieces of original root wood, and with minimal cuttings, a beautiful picture with traditional Chinese metaphor of Longevity was then nicely rendered.
The wood piece had yielded the fine patina on the surface in firm and sound condition when one minute old restoration was on the leg.
