An exquisite Chinese carved Ivory figure of a beautiful maiden. Hand carved from one ivory tusk artist signed on the bottom measuring Approximately 14 inches tall in excellent condition.
A 19th century (Edo to Meiji periods) gilded bronze branch bearing three golden fruits, each of which opens to reveal a small compartment. It is 19 cm (7-1/2 inches) long, 6 cm (2-1/2 inches) tall and comes enclosed in an age darkened kiri-wood box. Certainly of Buddhist connotations, it likely held some small sweets or incense.

The is a rare, old, long Chinese lock necklace with coral beads and matching amber drops.
The handmade upper chain leads to a lower strand of very small silver beads, with 4 pumpkin shaped coral beads alternating with 5 silver balls on each side. From each side of the beaded chain is a short chain ending with male and female ducks which represent a long and happy marriage.

A dramatic pair of large trays decorated with silver characters for sun and moon on dynamic black and red surfaces. Each comes in the original wooden box made by craftsmen at the Yabashi Studio in Gifu prefecture. They are 47 cm square and in fine condition.

Old anonymous charcoal drawing backed with washi Japanese paper, dated back to Meiji 41 (1908) as signed, 47.5 x 63.5 cm (18.70 x 24.99in), in very fine antique condition with aged deterioration as is, with stain and surface crack as seen. *Fixed with four small magnets on the wall when shooting, so that no holes at the corners...
The cover has a small loop with a center hole. The teapot has a "C" shaped handle with a gentle curving spout on the opposite side. The inside has been left unglazed with one square hole for the pouring spout.

Obtained from the bark of the alleged agalloch-the precious incense wood and followed the original shape, the wristrest was curved in the center to leave the space for the spreading scroll underneath.
