Description: A lavender-tinted Jun bowl was shaped with straight wall. Before applying the random strokes of purple splashes, one on the outer wall and another at the inner side, the ancient potter must had been dipping the bowl in the glaze so swiftly as to leaving the body in the cavetto partially unglazed like the bottom side. By intentional purpose of the potter’s ingenuity or just a simple missed work, the well-molded bowl was therefore full of rustic joy of strong Zen spirits...

A rare example of Jindezhen 'Shu Fu' ware white glaze dish, decorated incised with a Dragon in the center and continuously lotus scroll to the cavetto, underside is plain and covered overall with clean and pure white glazed, also with typically Yuan dynasty unglazed base. Condition unfortunately with badly damaged to rim sides like indicated on the pictures, otherwise it would be a high valued item. However it's still a rare and good study example piece. A good b/w small bowl, with finely potted in conical form, decorated with continuous lotus scrolls in the middle of the body in nicely cobalt-blue tone and made by finer quality white porcelain, collected in Ternate island Indonesia. "Kang Xi Nien Zhe" four character mark on the base, but it's dating late Ching dynasty 19th century. Condition with one tiny flake glaze to rim and impossible to take a picture, otherwise is perfect.
