Description:A unique blue and white inkcake holder was in flat drum’s shape. Painted on the surface with Buddhist diagrams and floral patterns,the basin was decorated with round dots on the upper and lower rim as drum’s nails. In the center, the small circular brush-lick pool was unglazed and stained with some old ink. As to the painting, cobalt blue was concentrating within the flowing brush strokes. This Chinese ethnic minority hat was worn by child and is heavily laden with silver ornaments. The lower border of the top section of the hat has a band of stars. Description: A Temmoko tea bowl from Song Dynasty was found in rare opportunity. As a typical decoration of streaking and mottling of Temmoko wares, the surface of this Temmoko bowl was uniquely fired in silver effects. With bluish tint yielded under the light, the irregularly formed silver streaks engraved into the black surface of the glaze. An extremely rare celadon funerary jar, the shape of this vessel reminiscent of a lotus bud, decorated with five spouts is symbolic number referring to the Five Elements, a Daoist concept, but do not articulate to the body, indicating they may have been used to hold incense. A well carved jade frog that can be used as a pendant. Actually is was worn on the belt.It has two holes under the chin that do not go all the through. It probably had some metal clip attached to it. The color is a little lighter then appears in the photos. Age: Early 19th or late 18th century. Size: L.5cm. W.3cm. Condition: no chips or repairs. Nice smooth finish from being fingered a lot.

The 100 Bird Cape is sometimes mistaken by Westerners as a Miao baby carrier. In fact, the 100 bird cape is a man's garment. It would be worn on the back, over the 100 bird coat for special festivals. They are somewhat rare. Not all men could afford (actually the wives) the time and matterials to make such a garment. A RETICULATED PORCELAIN DISH, JAPANESE IMARI, LATE 17TH / EARLY 18TH CENTURY.

A very rare dish for this early period. The centre is decorated with typical Imari enamels in a most striking design set off by the reticulated border of interlaced circles. A large blue & white bowl with well balance potted, decorated at the exterior with three Phoenix on flight among flowers scroll. Interior center with a Peony blossom and continuously lotus scroll on the wall cavetto below diaper pattern around the rim. Six character 'Da Ming Xuan De Nien Zhe' within double circle to the base, but later product in Zhengde period (1506-1521). Condition: repaired to small missing piece and a bit re-stuck to rim (visible on enlargement 12), further in good condition...

A finely bottle vase of pear-shaped form, decorated to the body with reversed a white on black vividly painted of Lotus sprays. 13th-14th century Cizhou type. Condition is perfect except minor flake chips to foot rim. High: 18.3 cm.

A good example of Ming b/w bowl, decorated at the exterior with six Childrens playing, inside the center with a flower blossom within double circle. Ming dynasty late 15th century Chenghua period. Condition with gilt repaired to small missing piece and re-stuck to the rim. Diameter: 13.4 cm and High: 6.6 cm.

From Yunnan Province, this minority hand woven open container has wonderful age and patina. The wife said it was used at family dinners for pouring wine, the husband said used for pouring tea. I just smiled and nodded in agreement. The piece was obviously woven tight enough to contain liquid. There is a small piece of bamboo inserted into the basket spout which aids in controlling the flow. Condition is very good and the piece measures 8" x 5" high.

It's a very good example of large celadon censer standing on three legs and decorated with three ribs the body. Covered overall with finely olive green glazed. Condition is damaged with several missing piece like indicated on the enlargement pictures as well as foot area with gilt repaired. Southern Song dynasty and would be very rare example vessel as a study or comparison piece for collectors considered the superbly size. Diameter: 16.5 cm and High: 14 cm.

A very rare Ming hair ornament made of four jade goldfish and a cicada held together by gold wiring made up of a butterfly and floral design. It originally had turquoise colored king fish feathers inlaid in the design.It also has the original metal wiring holding it together. Size: H. 5.5cm. W. 5cm. Jades average 2 cm. Condition: Normal ageing on the metal parts.

An extremely rare spouted ewer, the flat base rising to rounded sides, decorated each with incised chrysanthemum blossom and prunus blossom. Covered overall with slightly bluish green Qingpai glaze, unglazed to the rim. This kind of vessels shape first seen on Yuan dynasty with variously type from celadon, qingpai and b/w wares, but it's very rare found and qualified as a museum pieces, also nothing found again to the later period such like Ming and Ching. A very rare white glaze offering dish in flower-shaped form with thinly fine potted and fluted sides cavetto, covered overall with Thienpai/Sweet white glaze, flat unglazed base. Yuan dynasty circa 1279-1368 Jindezhen ware. Condition is excellent, with no any chips, no cracks and free from any restoration as well as flawlessly. Diameter; 16 cm.

An unusual pair of huanghuali plates with writing on the bottoms of each plate. Age: 19 century. Size: 13 - 13.2cm. Condition: Perfect.

This is a medium height stoneware cizhou with brown dots glazed Yuan dynasty (1277-1367) yuhuchun ping. Standing on a short splay foot rim, it rises up to a pear shaped body narrowing upwards to a short waisted neck towards a everted trumpet like mouth. On the pear shaped body and the everted mouth of the cizhou yuhuchun Ping, it is painted with pattern dots in brown colour.

This is very rare small celadon in Meiping form, decorated with carved two horizontal lines of Chinese coins 'Yen Bao' supported by lotus petals to the lower section, shoulder surrounded by petals motif such like five pointed star. 15th century Yaozhou ware or possibly earlier. Condition is perfect with no any chips, no cracks excepted minor fretting to the glaze. High: 16.1 cm.

An intriguing lidded bowl patterned with soft blue red and white in the style of traditional hand made temari balls (multicolored silk thread balls) by modern ceramic artist Sato Kazuhiko (b. 1947). The piece is signed on the base and dated 1992, and comes enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Inside the dish is pebble textured stone gray, with a silver tablet fired into the top.
