This ancient conch shell bead from the Pyu period and dates back to around the first century. It represents the emblem of the voice of Buddha preaching the laws of his doctrine, and occurs as one of the auspicious signs on the "Footprint of Buddha". Size: L. 2.2cm. Condition: No repairs. In the enlarged photos you will see the natural faults of the stone but is not very noticeable with the naked eye.

An elegant rendition of the famous Rimpa Crane standing alongside a swirling river of silver created by Shoun for the Shobido Art Studio enclosed in the original wooden box. An important table dinner bell by the renowned partnership of silversmiths Wakelin and Taylor, London, 1787. Turned ivory handle; the silver bell engraved with all-over decoration including motifs of foliate scrolls, birds, swags, and an armoured helm, together with a family crest. Description:
A white-glazed Dingyao censer was in decent form.
With two erected loops, the censer was well decorated on the surface with carved floral pattern.
For verification, the body clay was in dense-feel quality which was the very characteristic for Dingyao wares.
The greasy-feel glaze on the surface was in old look by the incursions, especially along the carving lines of the motifs.

This is an unmarked older Mexican silver repousse treasure. The length is 7.5in. long and 1 7/8th's of an inch tall. Each link is curved to lay beautifully on the arm. The quality rivals the Los Castillo design and weighs 74 grams heavy.

Oak Arts and Crafts settle. Circa 1910. Size: 76.5 inches length x 30.5 inches depth x 34.5 inches ht. This settle was inspired by Gustav Stickley's Model 210, but is slightly shorter and shallower. Offered in its original condition, with new green velour cushions.

Horace Brown (American, 1876-1949) - a pair of landscape paintings by this Springfield, VT artist: one being a signed work of a wooden outbuilding in summer and the second a view of a saltbox cabin in winter, which is unsigned but also has an unfinished sketch of a farm building painted on the verso. Scarce Irish silver bowl by silversmith Matthew West, Dublin, c.1780, sterling silver. A small bowl adorned with swirling bands of punch work decoration and supported on three hoof feet. Excellent antique condition. Hallmarked on the underside with the Irish harp, figure of Hibernia and maker's initials MW for Matthew West. Also engraved with the original owner's initials BR in block letters. Size: 5 inches in diameter x 2.5 inches high. Weight: 4.6 troy ounces.

American figural cow weathervane, probably Cushing and White, Waltham, Massachusetts. Circa 1880-1890. Size: 26.5 inches length x 16 inches height. A full copper body and cast zinc head of classic form with wonderfully delineated lines. Gilt over original gilt surface, with some verdigris. Overall excellent condition; no restoration to the body. Cushing and White made these models with or without udders. Provenance: private collection, Chatham, New York.
