Measuring 7 1/2" from beak to tail and 5 1/4" high to top of crest, this bronze is in excellent condition, with all the origonal paint. The detail in both the casting and paint is very fine, and the figure is life size and life like. It is signed on the belly and tail with Bergmann's "B" in an urn, with the Austria stamp, and KF in a diamond lozenge. In addition, on the tail, the mark of Carl Kauba is also stamped, which is unusual, and may have been done for marketing purposes...

Chinese or Vietnamese wooden Christian cross with beautiful lotus and vines decoration inlaid in engraved mother of pearl. Condition: center with chipped area (please see photo no. 7) and few lost inlays, rearside with paper residue. Dimension: 46.7 cm x 24.2 cm x 1.8 cm.

A nice carved curling pig dragon with a bird head terminal to the crest. Hongshan styles have been copied through out different dynasties. It is hard to date this piece, probably early 20th century. Will make a nice pendant. Size: H.5cm, W. 4.5cm.

Large Chinese Neolithic Painted Pottery Jar - Machang (c. 2300 - 2000 BC)

This large and impressive pottery jar was made over 4,000 years ago during the Machang Phase (c. 2300 - 2000 BC) of the Majiayao culture, also known as the Gansu-Yangshao culture, from present day Gansu or Qinghai province. Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Zodiac Figure (Tiger)

This pottery "zodiac figure" was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is in the form of a robed official figure, hands held together across the chest, with the head of a tiger. It is made from a reddish-brown pottery that has been cold-painted in a creamy-white pigment with pink pigment on top around the head.

This is a good-sized figure with a height of 27.5 cm...

Rare Chinese Northern Song / Jin Dynasty Twin-Handled Jar

This rare and unusual jar was made at one of the northern kilns during the 11th - 13th century. It is coated both inside and out in a thick glaze that varies in colour from chocolate-brown to black. The glaze fall short of the base on both the inner and outer surfaces. The outer body is decorated with a fluted wall and lightly incised horizontal lines that surround the jar at its shoulder...

Fine & Rare Large Burmese 13th - 15th Century Celadon Glazed Dish with Incised Elephant

This is my favorite bracelet made by Erika Hult in the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Properly hallmarked as shown and is 6 7/8th inches long. Curves brilliantly around the wrist and has a weight of 100 grams of quality. The design has a big presence with 1.25in. of height. She studied at the Parsons School of Design in Paris as did Hubert Harmon. She signed her work with the name of RIC.

Chinese Qing dynasty ink and color on silk painting of a maiden in a garden setting seated on rockery and holding a flower under a willow tree. The ink inscription at the upper left states the painting was executed in the guimao year (1843) after Ming artist Tang Yin (1470-1524). Hand made sterling silver and shell letter opener or caviar knife designed and signed circa 1950's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. 5 1/2" long. Beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or dings to the silver or shell. Signed on the end of handle with Spratling hallmarks and eagle 30. A great looking estate diamond flower ring set in 14Kt white gold. The center diamond is an approximately 0.33Ct old-miner diamond, surrounded by seven rose-cut diamonds set in the petals of the flower. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.40Ct. The ring is size 7, but can easily be sized.

A rare French porcelain figural inkstand in the form of a grazing cow, 19th century. This inkstand has a removable inkwell and sander and is modeled in the form of a grazing cow, complete with horns and bell, decorated in polychrome enamels, with overglaze gilt accents. It bears a blue pseudo Sevres mark on the underside. Continental, probably of French origin.
