A large and nice jun yao bowl of sky blue colour. It stands on a short recessed foot rin and then everted upwards towards a slightly straighten side and then towards the rim it folds slightly inwards. There is a slight colour variation between the actual bowl glaze and the photograph taken.

This is a finely potted Song dynasty qingpai covered box in the shape of pumpkin from the Hutian yao kiln. The colour is that of aqua sea greenish glzed.
Generally in good condition with the exception of some minor chip at the base of the covered box. Other wise no chip, crack, resoration or repair. Glaze in good condition. No glaze crazing or fritting.

A long silk lampas-woven sash, known as hizam, once worn by a Moroccan bride. The beautiful pattern being reminiscent of the fabled textiles of Moorish Spain. Kamishimo has been the Samurai’s official attire in Edo period (1615-1868). It also
became the attire for performers of traditional music and dance, especially in Kabuki theatre during the latter part of the Edo. For rare occasions, it could still be made
for something traditional up to present time.
This Kamishimo is made out of hemp and is beautifully hand sewn. I am not quite
sure of the age and who this belonged to in the past...

This strand of malachite Tibetan Prayer beads has been somewhat dulled with time and use, but the color patterns of the beads are still clear and beautiful. The coral counter beads are a bit lighter color than appears in the photo. I am dating them conservatively as pre 1950 but it is possible that they actually are from the later Qing dynasty. If open up, the total length of the mala would measure 39 inches.
