Striking sterling silver azur malachite or chrysocolla "North Star" necklace designed & signed circa 1949 by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The Matl double birds "looking back" earrings are one of the most endearing designs by Matilde Poulat. These are hallmarked with one of her earliest signatures. They measure 1 7/8th inches long including the dangles. The weight is 20 grams heavy. There is a warm natural patina to the silver. A superb treasure.
This rare geometric 970 sterling silver & moonstone bracelet was designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Bracelet measures 5/8" wide and up to 7 wearable inches long. It weighs 71 grams, 2.5 oz. Ingenious in design, 10 bezel set moonstones appear to float between the 10 curved silver panels. The flawless opaque stones reflect shades of pale blue depending on the light. Bracelet is in exquisite condition with no issues...

Early Deco Peruzzi Italian 800 silver and carnelian necklace, this is a regal piece, crisply cast and boasting a wonderful combination of motifs. The stones are semi-translucent and rich in color and the double chain with its floral links adds a luxurious feel to it. This striking pin is composed of 2 beautifully engraved silver circles intertwined with an oval, and set with ovals of agate of various colors. Agates have been used in jewelry going back into antiquity. They were thought to ward off storms and headaches, attract strength, and to affect dreaming. Large Chinese late Qing Guangxu period cylindrical form censer decorated in underglaze blue against a white porcelain ground with a faint blue-green tint with a pair of four-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl above waves. The interior is glazed while the base is unglazed. 7 1/2" high x 8" diameter. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small amount of staining to the interior.

A scarce WMF boy with snail pewter card tray circa 1900. This original period Art Nouveau oval calling card salver measures 11" x 5-3/8". it was made in Germany by WMF.
