This beauty is probably a mourning piece, with its black enamel flower. It has a tiny central old-cut diamond, and is made from 18k gold. There is a little chipping to the enamel, but it’s still quite lovely. The flower measures 1/2†x 3/4†and the whole thing is 2-1/2†long. Circa 1900. A cricket cage made of a long bodied gourd with ivory mounts to accommodate the ivory and tortoise shell lid. The surface of the gourd has a leathery look from age. The tortoise shell piece has intricate pierced carvings of the "Eight Taoist Symbols" amidst curling tendril patterns.

Rare and magnificent sterling and amethyst necklace by Taxco silversmith Felipe Martinez who called his workshop Piedra Y Plata, which he opened in 1950. This necklace predates the opening of the shop. It measures 19" end to end and is 1 1/2" wide. A most desirable signed Matl from when Matilde Poulat was designing in her shop. This necklace has a 16.75 in. wearable length with a width of .80 of an inch. The head is the larger size with varied tones of large blue turquoise stones. Old Matl is so hard to find and this design is seen mostly in gold wash over silver. This one is all silver. You may see these in a shorter length for less money but they will rarely fit due to the length. The weight is 124 grams...

Early William III Britannia standard silver trefid tablespoon, London, 1699, by silversmith Francis Archbold, length 7.25 inches. The shallow bowl gilded on the interior and with a double ribbed and beaded rat tail. The upturned handle's terminal is cut with two notches. Hallmarks are quite well struck apart from the date letter which is worn but still legible. The higher Britannia silver standard of 95.84% was introduced in 1697 but is rarely found after 1730...

This is a vintage 14Kt yellow gold functioning pinball machine charm / pendant. The movable lever is spring loaded and ball is a small cultured pearl that can be shot into the machine with four indentations for the ball to lend in. The pinball machine is 5/8” long ¼” wide and 11/16” high without the jump ring on top.
Description: A pair of jade plates were in transparent light green tint. By a shallow and flat foot ring, the plates were decently decorated on the surface with gilding motifs of leafy flowers, fruits, bamboos and pine trees. Carved in a light way, the vibrant plants were finely rendered before gold pigment was filled in to enlighten the whole picture against the celadon jade ground. Circa 1900 faceted 13mm cherry red beads - passed the friction electrostatic amber test - with hints of cognac hues, 4mm micro faceted Peridot and new 18K GOLD earwires (Not gf, Not Vermeil) were used to make these 1.5" earrings. Light as a feather and oh how the light dances through the antique red beads while they sparkle! Custom work welcome.

Handmade sterling silver cuff bracelet designed and hallmarked (c.1950)by Taxco, Mexico silver artist Antonio Pineda. Warrior figures are hand carved into the sterling silver giving the design a shadow box effect. Front center measures 2 1/3 inches from top to bottom tapering at the back.
