An attractive white brass water pipe complete with all its parts (cleaning tools and original chain). Two surfaces of the square-shaped body have etched artwork of women reading in a garden surrounded by foliage. The remaining 2 surfaces have an etched poem about the scene. The calligraphy is particularly beautiful.

Rare American Boston and Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich, Massachusetts cut overlay bell pull, with white glass over cranberry and with brass end mounts. Holding in the left hand with a rosary, the fairy saint hold a Ruyi in his right hand.
Smiling and in amiable mood, the stone figure was well depicted and was in warm yellowish tint due to enduring old age.
