This is the best Los Ballesteros bracelet ever. Wonderful 1 1/2" wide sterling hinged bangle with black enamel polka dots strategically placed all around the bracelet. The back is as interesting as the front. It measures 7 1/4" around in the inside and weighs a solid 119 grams. Tight push in clasp and fine original condition. Signed for Los Ballesteros as shown. I just LOVE this bracelet!
Antique Korean chest with a burgundy colored lacquer and bound with pierced brass decorative fittings. The color is a bit darker and with a more caramel tone than our studio lighting permitted - the underlying wood grain pleasantly texturing the lacquer surface in places. Of similar size, proportion and configuration to Korean cosmetic chests, there are some distinguishing differences...
A very rare and unusual root brush pot that is highly prized by the Qing Scholars. This is a very special type of root know in Chinese as "JinJinan" The pot has all the natural openings from the root. Age: Qing, early 18 century. Size: H. 29.3 cm. Diameter at the base. 19cm. Condition: No repairs to the root. An old repair on one leg of the base. One leg has been replaced. See photos.

This set of three Georg Jensen small serving pieces comprises a pastry server in the Beaded pattern, and a sugar spoon and demitasse spoon in the Mayan pattern. They are in excellent condition, may need cleaning. The server measures 4 7/8 in., sugar spoon is 3 7/8 in and the demitasse spoon is 4 in. All are approximate measurements. The three pieces weigh 2.47 oz.

Starting with the famous verse by Chinese Scholar YoYu (AD 53-18) ”The written character is a picture of the heart” (Sho kokoro Ga nari) here are written 42 rules of calligraphy spread over 10 narrow panels by the famous calligraphist Ide Gakei dated 1677. The verses appear to have been written in one sitting, the style going from crisp perfect Kaisho characters through Gyosho stylized characters and into the elegantly running Grass script (Sosho)...

An impressive, Mingei carved wood kiseruzutsu (a pipe case or holder worn similarly as a sashi netsuke) with snake and frog decoration - quite appropriate for the 'year of the snake' and a tiny compass with inlaid into one corner. Depicted are a snake coiled around a weathered log apparently in ready ambush for a frog perched on the other end - both with pierced bone or stag antler inlaid eyes...
A shallow dish, heavily potted, covered in a beautiful celadon glaze producing the crackles of the Geyao type glaze. The recessed base is glazed while the foot rim is dressed with an iron brown wash.
