Louis Comfort Tiffany art glass bowl of lobed and paneled form, decorated in an iridescent finish, and with grape and vine motifs engraved on the top border and on its bottom. Signed: L.C.T. Favrile. Size: 7 5/8" diameter x 3 1/4" height. Circa 1900-1915. Condition: some discoloration to the interior of the bowl's base; no chips or cracks.
Only one like this. c. 1925 Acid Etched Amber Glass, often referred to Lalique like because of its fine design, Czech Fire Polished faceted black tear drops and Signed Sterling was used to create this heirloom piece. Simple design applications allow these etched pieces to nearly stand on their own. Would have been listed in "Estate Jewelry" were it not for the new sterling fancy paper clip chain (17.5"). Pendant: 1 7/8" long. Earrings: 2.25" long.

Matching the big brooch in the same design that I presented a few days ago (please refer to item no 1204747), this set of dangle earrings is showy, fun and a pleasure to wear. The horses look almost cartoonish and have acquired a wonderful patina over time. Each earring measures 1 3/4" long and the diameter of the dangle is 1 5/16". The set's weight comes up to 16.5 grams and it is signed with Eagle 22 (one of Davis's assay numbers)...

Tempestuous waves in fine gold lines splash between lightning shapes decorated with reed curtains on the sides of this singular lacquered wooden koro with woven silver lid dating from the Momoyama to opening of the Edo period, Later 16th to early 17th century. It is 8.5 cm (3-1/4 inches) high, 7.5 cm (3 inches) diameter. The worn base has been re-lacquered to protect the wood core from splitting or cracking otherwise is entirely original to the period.
A rare and spectacular bracelet by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs comprised of six sterling silver wired wrapped irregular shaped polished stones - citrine, white quartz, amethyst, topaz, rose quartz and smokey topaz. The stones are large, the white quartz being the longest at 1 1/2" long. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end and is 1 1/2" wide at the widest stone. An amazing pattern of gold and silver maki-e decorates this lidded Tea Cup and stand dating from the later Edo period decorated with a samurai clan crest in gold. Assembled it is 7 inches (17.5 cm) tall, 6 inches (15.5 cm) diameter and in excellent condition, enclosed in a custom- fitted Kiri-wood box.
