Accompanied by a letter describing the pipe and its presentation to the letter's recipient, this pipe depicts General Joseph Joffre, a famous French military man who served from 1869-1916, and was the Commander in Chief of the French Forces on the Western Front in WWI.
Very expertly carved, the pipe is a figured hard wood, with a curved horn mouth piece. It does not appear to have ever been used, as the bowl is perfectly clean.

Very rare form of a Kate Greenaway figure by James Tufts Silverplate Company of Boston, ca 1880.
A sewing caddy or stand, with rods to hold spools of thread, a pincushion held by the young girl, and a very nice engraved tray in the Aesthetic Movement style.
It measures 5 1/4" high, and is 6 1/4" in diameter, with a nice flared foot of 3/8" high.

Created in Frank Patania's Thunderbird shop, this box is a beautiful example of handmade Zuni art. Measuring 4 1/4" X 3 1/4" X 3/4" the piece weighs 166 grams. Carved onyx, turquoise and mother of pearl are inlaid in a silver frame to form the dragonfly. The bold hinge design is often seen on Frank Patania boxes. They work smoothly. The box is in beautiful condition. Hallmarked STERLING with Thunderbird.

This is an exceptionally fine yoni, of great size and beautifully crafted.
It measures 22" long, 9" wide, and is 6 1/2" high.
Heavy weight, 10 pounds.
The workmanship is excellent, all hand hammered and sculpted in perfect form. The top is adorned with raised ridges and lines, and the tail is perfectly flared. The center area is recessed, with a deep channel that extends to the end of the yoni.

Pair of silver candlesticks, ca 1890, by Herman Sudfeld, fully marked with .800 silver standard and Sudfeld's name and monogram.
Measure 16" high, 35 troy ounces.
Sudfeld is a known silversmith, working between 1883-1909.
Well proportioned, with a bulbous stem over cylindrical section upon a domed base, with four ornate feet.

One of the most coveted designs for Mexican Silver collectors is the Hector Aguilar feathers bracelet. The stones are amethyst and the height is 1.5 in. The markings are hand chased on top with deep and darkened recesses. The weight reflects it's presence at 156 grams heavy. It is built on a curve and you can see a posted pix that reflects that. We have a stunning pair of matching cuffs from the Mexican Silver Renaissance with a grand height of 5 inches. Beautiful cabbage roses with leaves adorn the treasure. The wrist is 2.25 in. and up the arm it is graduated to 2.75. It can be made somewhat smaller or larger. I would say it is set for a medium wrist with air to flow comfortably. Navajo Kenneth Begay has been called the "father of modern Navajo jewelry". From 1946-1964, he worked as a benchsmith at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Az. The size is medium to medium large for Matl treasures with a measurement of 4 in. across on the drop and 3.75 in. tall.
