Large Chinese Warring States Impressed Pottery jar (475 - 221 BC)
This large pottery jar was made during the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). It is made from a high-fired pale orange-brown pottery, the surface colour of which varies in places. It is of globular form with quite a wide mouth. The whole outer surface has been decorated with repeated impressed geometric patterns comprising vertical and horizontal lines.

Great looking, early sterling and center green stone bracelet by Los Ballesteros. It is hinged and opens and closes on the side. Beautiful patina, fine original condition, it measures 7 1/2" around in the inside and is 1 3/4" wide in the front and 1 1/8" at the back. It weighs 99 grams. Signed as shown. One of the very best Los Ballesteros bracelets produced.

A Mingei style sculpture of a sake-sprite (Shojo) making off with a barrel of rice wine on his shoulder dating from the 19th century. This architectural work was likely originally part of a gate, and would have been a welcome sign to thirsty fellows after a day of work. Carved from a single piece of hard Keyaki wood, It is in excellent condition. 28 x 12 x 5 inches (71 x 13 x 13 cm). Keyaki as a wood is known for its hardness, beautiful grain and pest resistance.
This unique 14Kt yellow gold retro broach is shaped like a bouquet of flowers, and is decorated by 1 oval and 3 round amethysts and 5 round rubies. The broach measures 1 5/16” in width and 1 11/16” in height. The marking on the clasp is 14K.
