Extremely rare longquan celadon dish with dragon motif chasing fish covered with good green celadon glaze, Yuan dynasty. size: 34 cm diameter, dish condition with some crack line and crackled glaze but no damage part on restoration as shown at picture from different color.

Description: A Yueyao covered jar was rarely found with dated inscription of The 25th Year of Saoxing period(AD1155). By a fine pale-green glaze applied all over the surface, the jar was fitted with an interesting cap which imitating the roof of a Chinese building. Other motifs were those like the counting scale by the Chinese characters and the Chinese couplets of –“ The Warehouse is always full, The Selling Store is always open”. It was a fine jar, an interesting piece indeed...
