Description: A Zitan brush-rest was beautifully carved as a trove of Linzhi plant. Rested on a fitted boxwood stand from which the patina was in warm old condition and was preserved with the dirt residue due to age, this piece was in perfect condition. This diamond cluster original period stick pin with a full pearl in the center is circa 1910’s. The 11 old-mine diamonds weigh approximately 0.55Ct. Some of the stones have sight nicks, but the over all condition of the piece is excellent. The high luster pearl in the center that measures 4.75 millimeters is POSSIBLY an oriental pearl but it was not X-rayed so it being considered and sold as a cultured pearl.

A black-glazed Jizhou bowl was preserved in a fine condition.
By a beautiful grayish image of freely painted plum branch in the cavetto against the black ground, the tea bowl was mold in a typical Wan shape when standing by a flat foot ring which was a strong characteristic for a Jizhou bowl.
The buff-tinted soft-feel paste revealed at the bottom was another obvious characteristic for this dated ware.

A very unusual round Ming huanghuali box with a lid. The lid's center has a burl wood center of huanghuali. It is very rare to see burl wood huanghuali in huanghuali pieces. Pair of rare sterling silver handmade ash or pin trays centered with a raised mythical pre-Columbian Quetzalcotal head designed and signed (c.1930's) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-1967). Each measures 2 5/8" across. Contructed of heavy gauge silver. Weighs 19 grams. Beautiful vintage conditon with no dents or dings. Shipping and insurance included. A nice famille jaune bat motive tea cup. It has a Tonzhi seal mark both on the cover and the base of the cup and is of the period.

A minor manufacturing flaw on the cover (photo 2)and five hair lines as shown in the photos 4 and 5. two with stain and the other can be seen at certain angle only. Other than that, it is in fine condition, no chip or repair.

The height of the tea cup is 9cm and the diameter is 11.2cm

A New England Queen Anne highboy, circa 1750, in cherry, being a marriage of a period base with a period top. The proportions and color of the two components mesh very nicely, though the secondary woods differ, white pine versus chestnut. Found in a New Hampshire home. Refinished and with replaced brasses, otherwise in fine condition, without further restoration. Dimensions: 77 3/8" height x 38 1/2" width x 19 1/4" depth.
