A 10k green jadite or jade filigree cocktail ring from the 1950s. This vintage 5-1/4 or 5.25 size ring weighs 4.2 grams. The fine claw-set stone is a navette or marquise cabochon gem stone shape and it measures 1-1/8" from the tip of the setting to the other tip. The setting itself is 5/8" wide and the setting and shoulders are nicely decorated. It is stamped 10 K however the maker's name and mark have been obscured by what is likely a resizing in the past...

This elegant ring comes right out of the Art Deco era of Downton Abbey, The Great Gatsby, etc. The diamond is a very sparkly “transitional” cut diamond (a style that came between old European cut and modern round brilliant cut).
