This is a very special necklace, combining an Art Nouveau central panel set with a freshwater pearl and a sapphire-blue glass stone, with an Etruscan-style fringe. Unmarked, it really looks like gold, however it tests as rolled gold or gold fill (we didn’t test the fringe for fear of obvious damage). The central panel measures 1-1/4” x 1-1/4” including the dangles. In total, there are 11 graduated dangles or drops, the longest being 3/4” and the shortest 3/8”...

The center of the headrest is painted fluidly with a floral spray in a brown iron pigment while a loose band of three freely incised lines encircle the flower. The base is left unglazed.
