A nice Yuan b/w cup decorated at the exterior with Chrysanthemum scroll and inside with A Chinese character. Yuan dynasty. Condition is good excepted tiny minor chips re-touched. Diameter: 8 cm and High: 4 cm.

A very fine small jar of squat form and a short neck with flaring mouth. Moulded Plum spray decoration in low relief on the shoulder. A translucent glaze over a white porcelain body, very beautiful like white Jade, flat unglazed base Yuan - Ming dynasty, 14th to 15th century, Dehua ware, Fujian. Perfect condition except tiny chips on mouth rim. High: 5 cm.

It's rare one example of b/w bowl produced of transition between late Yuan to early Ming Hongwu period, decorated with emblems to the exterior and Tibetan characters around inner rim, base unglazed showing the characteristic of Yuan wares. Condition is perfect. Diameter: 14 cm.

Description: A decent lotus-bud bowl from Jun kiln was in beautiful look. In a tint of the famous sky-blue glaze, the elegant bowl was shaped at the foot ring with regular wall. Developed with darkened colour which was caused by kiln firing, the unglazed foot ring was preserved with obvious burial earth. Light incursions of pinhead holes were found on the surface near the bottom. In the cavetto, the glaze was in milky-white blue when some residues were left for authentication...

Pale green glazed to footrim exposing grey body burnt red. Fluted cavetto, freely peony spray in the center. Diameter : 32 cm Period : 14 th Century, Longquan Kiln, Zhejiang. Condition : very good colour glazed, professional restoration on minor hairline.

Chinese Northern Song Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Bowl in Kiln Saggar

A rare opportunity to acquire a Northern Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1127) kiln saggar still containing its Qingbai porcelain bowl, excavated from a kiln site in the Jingdezhen area of Jiangxi province. This is one of a variety of different Qingbai porcelain wares in saggars, mostly bowls and dishes of varying sizes and patterns, that we were very lucky to be able to acquire some time ago and now offer for sale.

Description: This small and rare jade pendant is in a shape of two wild geese who twisting their necks in an intimate way.It was typically a common subject in the nomadic tribe's folk art of northern China. Longquan bowl decorated with incised lotus petals rising from foot to the exterior and flower motif in the center. Covered with green glaze. Unglazed base. PERIOD : Song 12th-13th century. CONDITION : no chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restoration; good sound when tapping by finger tips. MEASUREMENT : Diameter: 18.2cm and Height : 6.8 cm

A Kendi with cylindrical neck, everted lip and tapering spout. Covered overall with brown-reddish amber coloured lead glaze, stopping above the base, over a white stoneware body. Condition with flaw large chip to foot rim and polished to the tip of the spout because seem shorter than usual, further in good condition without any restoration, no any crack and other chip found. 14th century Fujian ware probably Quanzhou kiln. High: 17.5cm.

Blue & White saucer dish, decorated at interior with a Cabbage and Human figure at the exterior. Dating Ming dynasty, Cheng Hua period ( 1465-1487 ) Private kiln/Ming Yao ware. Found on Majene South Sulawesi Indonesia. Condition is perfect, no chips, no crack or no restored, only one side with firing discoloured turn to slightly yellow, visible on enlargement 6. Soft paste/Semi-porcelain ware. Diameter: 11.5 cm.

A Yuan longquan celadon jarlet with two lugs decorated with clear dragon motif covered with bluish green glaze.
Jar in very good condition no damage, no chip, no crack, no restoration.
Size: 7.5 cm height, 8 cm wide.

A very rare relic of a pottery figure was found in original excavation condition.
It was applied with greenish glaze on the surface.
Slight abrasives were caused due to age.

Large Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue & White Jar with Cover - Oxford TL Test

This large and rare early underglazed jar, complete with cover, was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) at one of the kilns at Yuxi in Yunnan province. Although classed as "blue & white" ware, the colour of the underglaze cobalt blue does vary in places and the clear glaze is distinctly greenish in colour...

Rare Chinese Cast Iron Feng Shui Disc - Ming Dynasty or earlier

This very rare item dates to the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) or possibly as early as the Song or Yuan dynasty. It is a cast iron feng shui, or geomancy, disc. On the upper surface there are Chinese characters and the eight trigrams of the I Ching within circular bands. In the centre are raised dots, presumably relating to geomancy...

Large Thai 14th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Celadon Bowl

This stoneware bowl was made at the Sawankhalok kilns around the 14th - 15th century. It is coated in an attractive and finely-crackled translucent celadon glaze that has just a hint of blue to it. It has become slightly warped during firing and the glaze has pooled to one side in its centre. To the unglazed base is the round mark of the pontil on which this bowl stood whilst in the kiln during firing...

A blue & white bowl, well balance with everted lip rim, decorated outside with continuous Chrysanthemum scroll. Ming dynasty 15th century Xuande period private kiln ware. Condition: re-touched a crack and two chips, further in good condition. Diameter: 14.5 cm.

Description: A triad of brown glazed figurines (two officials and one servant) were preserved in good condition except one minor fret on one of the doll's shoulder. Very amusing pieces indeed. Height: 5.7cm, 5.5cm, 5.4cm.

Pair of Chinese Ming dynasty green and amber lead-glazed pottery funerary figures in the form of attendants. Each figure stands on a waisted hexagonal plinth and is dressed in layered robes with long sleeves. The male figure has a square official’s hat and holds a makeup box. His hands are folded in his sleeves and covered by a tasseled towel. An amber glazed basin, carrying water, rests in the folded arms of the female figure...

It is beautifully potted in an ovid form with incised foliate ground in a transparent icy green glaze, with the rounded side tapering to a short foot.

There are no repairs or restorations. There is some minor firing fault, degradation, chips at the mouth (picture 3) and minor losses. Minor scattered oxidise spot and a more a visible one shown on picture 5. Otherwise in good condition.

The measurement of the yingqing ewer : Height 19cm and the width is 13.3cm.

A celadon dish with finely potted, decorated at the exterior with lotus petals rising from foot, interior is plain and covered overall with olive green glaze. Condition cracks such like indicated on the pictures. Southern Song dynasty. Diameter: 16.8cm

A nice celadon mallet vase with a pair fish handles attached to the neck, covered overall with pale olive green glaze. Southern Song dynasty Longquan wares. Condition is perfect. High: 15.8cm.

Description:

A Longquan cup was in rarely-seen Chrysanthemum shape.
Finely mold and was applied with pale green agate-feel glaze on the surface, the cup was stand on a small foot ring which in slightly everted wall.
A molding navel was in the center of the foot ring when darken brownish tint was revealed at the body clay.
Glaze crackles and obvious incursions were happened to the glaze.

The cup was finely shaped and was well glazed as those documentary counterparts...

A finely Southern Song dynasty octagonal vase, covered overall with creamy ivory white glaze with unglazed base. Condition is perfect, with no any chips, no crack and free from any restoration. Fujian ware Huthian kiln. Height: 17cm.

A very finely potted white glazed covered box of circular shape with domed lid. Decorated with incised a spray of flower in the center, unglazed flat base. Chinese 14th-15th century Dehua ware, Fujian. Condition is excellent, no chips, crack or restored. Diameter: 12.8 cm and High: 6 cm.

Description: A Yaozhou bowl in conical shape was kept in perfect condition. The olive-green glaze is beautiful. Even though it was in plain style without any motifs, the typical Song mood was still exemplified. Date: Song dynasty. Width: 9.9cm Height: 4.1cm Condition: perfect.

A Longquan celadon dish, decorated to the center with incised of single fish, covered overall with fine pale green glaze. Southern Song dynasty 11th-12th century. Condition with tiny flake chip to backside, no crack and no other chip. Diameter: 13cm.

Elegant shaped and very well potted white glaze double guard ewer, covered overall with such called 'Thian Pai' or Sweet white glaze. Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century. Condition with spout reduce and glued repair, otherwise is perfect. High: 12.5cm.

A good early Ming 15th century Chenghua blue and white bowl, rounded side with flared rim and straight foot, bowl decorated with under glaze blue of water flower motif, center with couch motif, inner rim with flower scroll motif.
Bowl is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.
Size: 15.5 cm diameter.

Description:

A black-glazed Cizhou censer was characteristically decorated on the the surface with striking russet strips.
Supported by three squeezed feet on the bottom, the censer owned a round body which extending upward to a wide mouth.
The mouth was framed with a flat band of rim which in everted slope.
It was well preserved in perfect condition and owned the very characteristics for authentication.

A very good example of Duck figure in Sancai glaze of Ming dynasty 15th/16th century, Swatow family wares. Condition is broken to the tail caused excavation and a bit missing area visible on enlargement 5, otherwise is perfect as well as the glaze still very shine. Found in Borneo Island Indonesia. Long: 19.5cm and High: 13.8cm.
