A well carved jade frog that can be used as a pendant. Actually is was worn on the belt.It has two holes under the chin that do not go all the through. It probably had some metal clip attached to it. Large, left hand bone cuff bracelet designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. Measuring 3 3/4" long, it is 4 1/2" around in the inside with a 1 1/2" opening so for a 6" or so wrist and again, this bracelet can only be worn on the left hand as the bump fits over the wrist bone. The cuff is in fine original condition and weighs 126 grams. It comes in its' original Tiffany & Co. blue felt drawstring bag. Signed Peretti Tiffany & Co. Sterling Spain. A very special and unusual sterling and green onyx ( or agate ) bracelet by Carmen Beckmann ( Bekmann). One of the few women Mexican silversmiths, her work is hard to find and always interesting and beautiful.Beckmann had a shop in San Miguel deAllende and was active in the 1960's and 1970's. Fabulous pale green genuine apple jade beaded necklace with a white gold filigree clasp with a lovely genuine opal cabochon. Circa 1930. The clasp is marked 14K. The jade beads are a nice size at 9 millimeters wide. Handknotted with matching pale green thread; the stringing appears to be original and is secure. The beads have beautiful darker green variegated markings.

The necklace is 15 3/4 inches long with the clasp extended, and just under 3/8 inch wide. Excellent condition...

The 100 Bird Cape is sometimes mistaken by Westerners as a Miao baby carrier. In fact, the 100 bird cape is a man's garment. Kozutsu (koh-zutsu) is a stick incense container used for Japanese "Sencha" tea ceremony. The pine tree is carved on bamboo with exceptionally artistic quality. The tips (end pieces) of the tube are made from red sandalwood. Signed "Chikusou" with a gourd emblem. It is 10 3/4 inches long. No damages. Circa, Meiji period (1868-1912)

A charming sterling and white and silver fleck enamel necklace, bracelet and earring set by Margot De Taxco. The double flower design is feminine but bold and it is so nice to have a matching set. The necklace measures 17" end to end and the flowers are 7/8" by 7/8". The bracelet is 7 1/2" end to end and the screwback earrings are 7/8" by 7/8". All pieces are in fine original condition with no enamel loss at all and all pieces are signed and numbered as shown. Great enamel work.

Rare and unusual sterling Modernist design necklace and bracelet by Salvador Teran. It is difficult to find his pieces and rare to find a matching necklace and bracelet. The necklace hangs 11 " long when fastened and on the neck. The spikey hanging ornament hangs 2 1/2" long and is 1 3/4" wide. It is constructed so that it can be removed from the necklace. A large ancient tiger's tooth that has almost turned into stone. Found in Southeast Asia. Teeth like these were used as pendants by ancient people in Asia. This one is about 2000 years old and is in fine condition with a lot of the enamel still remaining. Can be worn as a pendant.

A finely bottle vase of pear-shaped form, decorated to the body with reversed a white on black vividly painted of Lotus sprays. 13th-14th century Cizhou type. Condition is perfect except minor flake chips to foot rim. High: 18.3 cm.

A good example of Ming b/w bowl, decorated at the exterior with six Childrens playing, inside the center with a flower blossom within double circle. Ming dynasty late 15th century Chenghua period. Condition with gilt repaired to small missing piece and re-stuck to the rim. Diameter: 13.4 cm and High: 6.6 cm.

Featured on page 172 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk, this is the Female Dancers Bracelet by Los Castillo, c.1940-45. Very rare and exhibiting magnificent detail, it measures 7 1/2" end to end and is 1 3/4" wide. I am unsure if the clasp is original or perhaps a replacement although it has the same patina as the bracelet. Weighing 78 grams, the bracelet is in excellent condition. Signed and numbered as shown. A Mexican silver collectors dream.

From Yunnan Province, this minority hand woven open container has wonderful age and patina. The wife said it was used at family dinners for pouring wine, the husband said used for pouring tea. I just smiled and nodded in agreement. The piece was obviously woven tight enough to contain liquid. There is a small piece of bamboo inserted into the basket spout which aids in controlling the flow. Condition is very good and the piece measures 8" x 5" high.

Rare and unusual sterling Art Deco design bracelet by Margot De Taxco. I had never seen this bracelet before and it may have been custom made. It measures 6 3/4" around in the inside and is 1 7/8" wide in the front and 1 1/2" wide in the back. It is in fine original condition, weighs 121 grams. Signed and numbered as shown. A magnificent design and feels terrific on.

It's a very good example of large celadon censer standing on three legs and decorated with three ribs the body. Covered overall with finely olive green glazed. Condition is damaged with several missing piece like indicated on the enlargement pictures as well as foot area with gilt repaired. Southern Song dynasty and would be very rare example vessel as a study or comparison piece for collectors considered the superbly size. Diameter: 16.5 cm and High: 14 cm.

A very rare Ming hair ornament made of four jade goldfish and a cicada held together by gold wiring made up of a butterfly and floral design. It originally had turquoise colored king fish feathers inlaid in the design.It also has the original metal wiring holding it together. Size: H. 5.5cm. W. 5cm. Jades average 2 cm. Condition: Normal ageing on the metal parts.

An extremely rare spouted ewer, the flat base rising to rounded sides, decorated each with incised chrysanthemum blossom and prunus blossom. Covered overall with slightly bluish green Qingpai glaze, unglazed to the rim. This kind of vessels shape first seen on Yuan dynasty with variously type from celadon, qingpai and b/w wares, but it's very rare found and qualified as a museum pieces, also nothing found again to the later period such like Ming and Ching. This is very rare small celadon in Meiping form, decorated with carved two horizontal lines of Chinese coins 'Yen Bao' supported by lotus petals to the lower section, shoulder surrounded by petals motif such like five pointed star. 15th century Yaozhou ware or possibly earlier. An intriguing lidded bowl patterned with soft blue red and white in the style of traditional hand made temari balls (multicolored silk thread balls) by modern ceramic artist Sato Kazuhiko (b. 1947). A very unusual Kutani vase showing strong Art Deco influence, signed on the base and likely dating from the revival of that style seen in the 1950s. The white porcelain ground is decorated with four stylized tree trunks in overglaze enamels of white, black and various browns, with scattered gold flake between. The vase is 10 inches (25 cm) tall, 5 inches (12 cm) diameter and in excellent condition. Truly a rare find!

An exquisite Murashi-Do Bronze vase signed Shuho and enclosed in the original wooden box. The baluster form is interrupted by three ribs starting at the shoulder and running partially down the sides. The vase is otherwise entirely undecorated, leaving all impression to shape alone. A fantastic piece, it is 12 inches (30 cm) tall, 7-1/2 inches (19 cm) diameter and in fine condition. It dates circa the first quarter of the 20th century.

Description: A boxwood figure was vividly carved as a shepherd boy by mastery craftsmanship. Holding a pipe (which had been lost), the shepherd boy stands step-forwardly in a animated posture. A nice boxwood carving with nice patina was preserved good with only one small defect on his left foot(loss of two toes) and a minor crack at the rim of his straw hat. A newly made stand was included.

This is a traditional Buddhist Lama's hat from Tibet. It is made from hand-knotted pile of cotton fiber, which is gathered to form a crest. There are no rips or tears but the fabric shows areas of dirt from wear. This dramatic looking ethnographic artifact makes a great display piece. It measures approx 24" from the height of the crest to the bottom of the lower straps.

This is a very finely potted Northern Song (960 A.D – 1130 A.D) dynasty qingbai or yingqing zhadou vessel with an aqua sea greenish glazed. It stands on a flat base curving towards a deep baluster or bulbous body towards an everted wide flared mouth. zhadou are commonly used as refuse vessels placed on banqueting table as receptacles for fish or meat bones. Nice pooling of sea green colour at the neck and base of the zhadou.

There is no repair or restoration, chips or glaze fritting...
