Very nice set of small kaiseki or sushi plates from the Bishu-gama kiln made by Bizen potter Yamamoto Soshu (Munehide).
Each small plate is in perfect condition, measures 3.75" x .75" and is cleared marked on the reverse and has a bota-mochi style decoration on the face of each piece. No box.
This bowl by Shingu Sayaka looks to me as if it were made from petrified butterfly wings. It is titled Gakuyo Wan and comes enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is 14 x 14 x 8.5 cm (5-1/2 x 5-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition, directly from the artist.

Evocative blue decorated henko bottle vase with fluid brush decoration and sgrafitto decoration prominently signed; SEIRAN. The cobalt decoration sits on an almost ash style glaze with spots of blushed areas, similar to Hagi pottery. I have not been able to find out anything about the potter, but the brushwork and use of space suggests a full time potter, used to working in this particular style.
This henko is in perfect condition with its original signed box and measures 8" X 8.5" x 6".

Mint Oni-Hagi masterpiece chawan by star potter Seigan Yamane. This extraordinary tea bowl is covered by wonderful different shades of white glaze and a few shades of purple on brown pottery. In my opinion it is the one of the most aesthetic chawans that he made. The seal of the artist is stamped on the bottom.

An exquisite work of layered pottery by challenging female artist Fukumoto Fuku enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Tsuki no Shimo (Moon Frost). The clear white glaze certainly is like moonlight, and something about the impact of the form into multiple forms calls to mind an asteroid strikeing ground.
