Mint Oni-Hagi masterpiece chawan with notched foot by star potter Seigan Yamane. This extraordinary tea bowl is covered by wonderful different shades of white and light green glaze. In my opinion it is the one of the most aesthetic chawans that he made. The seal of the artist is stamped on the bottom.

A very cute small Chinese white glazed turtle attributed to North Carolina potter Virginia Shelton of J.B. Cole Pottery. On the base bottom there is an indication that there are some initials, but they are almost completely mostly obliterated by the glaze. In excellent condition, this little guy would make for a perfect and fun paperweight and a great piece for the collector. Measures 1.75" high, 2.5" diameter.

This sake bottle is a very rare piece among Sugimoto's works. Ordinary, shigaraki pieces are fired in the anagama fire woods kiln, however this pieces is carved and colored with pigment, And fired in the kiln with charcoal. This robust and modernist Haku-yu ( white ash) glazed mizusashi is by Kakurezaki Ryuichi protégé; Ishii Takahiro. This mizusashi is a creative statement to say the least and measures 10.5” X 9.75” X 6” and comes complete with the original signed box. Note the idiosyncratic and creative calligraphy!
