A quite spectacular vase made in the form of a dark iron glazed Tokoname pot inside a shattered crucible by multi-talented Ando Minoru enclosed in the original signed wooden box.

Rich Oribe influenced mizusashi with hakeme (hakame) and impressed design. In the firing, the glaze ran off the pot to form a dragonfly eye style drip. The drip makes the pot a bit uneven, but I could not bring myself to grind off the drip. The foot can easily be stabilized with the addition of two felt pads

This very robust and Momoyama influenced vase was made by Mino potter and part magician, Hori Ichiro. Thrown out of a grainy, off white mogusa clay and decorated in blades of grass on the front and side, the pot was finished off with Hori's classic Shino glaze and fired in his wood kiln. Cosmic rays flow away in a burst of green over the twilight color of this vessel by Furutani Hiromu (Churoku I) enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Shigaraki Shizen-yu Yohen Tsubo.
