Shino ware with dark body and free potting - one can feel spiral lines on the body left by fingers of the potter and see a beautiful spiral line on the bottom. Orange and gray Shino glaze with swirling lines, wonderful sense of energy to the piece. Made by American potter Robert Fornell (resided in Japan 1988-1996) marked with his seal on the foot.
