A striking necklace with three suspended mixed metals pendants by Winifred Mason Chenet, who was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She reportedly worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler.
This necklace is made of copper with brass overlays and connections of copper rivets and wire. Measures 15" long and closes securely with a hook clasp. The pendants are 1 1/2" wide and 1 5/8" high...

Circa 1920 camera shy magnet reacting cut steel sautoir worthy of a jewelry museum or jewelry book and ready for the next movie. This multi metal beaded fluid flapper fringed necklace is a rare find.
Similar to the French made sautoir book piece seen on page 190 of Antique Trader Jewelry Price Guide 2nd edition which is priced higher in the book than here.
From North to South doubled it measures 18" which includes the 3" medallion pendant, yielding approx 31" around the interior...

To be opened and shut through two little knobs in a steel monogram. Inner circumference when shut "6 2/3 / 17 cm Condition: could do with some professional care, part of the application is missing (cf. pics), still beautiful.

Measures 3 1/2"" long and 1 7/8" high. Marked with the conjoined CC mark inside a diamond. Has a 'C' clasp which holds securely.

Two impressive winged lions with their backs on each other make up the body of this antique yellow and rose gold-filled watch key. Part of a small collection I acquired some time ago that will be presented within the next couple of weeks, it is a very nicely detailed figural "bauble", perfect to be enjoyed alone or added to your neck mess. The watch key measures 1 3/4" tall (including bail and pin) by 1 1/8" wide and it weighs 4.8 grams (for reference only since there is no precious metal here)...

A vintage modernist brooch by noted African American mid century jeweler, Winifred Mason Chenet in copper with 5 dangles. This rare and early brooch was done when she just signed her work Mason, prior to adding the Chenet d'Haiti in the early 1950s.
Measures 2 1/8" across and 3" high including the dangles. Made of oxidized copper with raised graduated bumps. The balls and chains are brass and the hooks connecting the balls are copper for an interesting contrast...
