Modernist handmade sterling ring by the famous NYC silversmith, Sam Kramer(1913-1964), c.1948. It has an alternating circle design and can be worn as a wedding band or not. A sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet and matching ring, each with a central suspended floating orb by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004). Bracelet measures about 6" around with an opening of 7/8", and 1" wide. The orb sits about 3/4" high. Could probably be adjusted slightly. Marked Sterling Berridge on the inside. There is some solder residue on the inside...

Architectural modernist sterling horse head earrings by Paul Lobel(1899-1983), c.1950's. These earrings show a stylized horse head with applied silver wire forming a dimensional profile. The silver is cut unevenly to show the mouth and each measures 1" wide by 3/4" long. In excellent condition, each are signed "LOBEL STERLING". One of the best figural modernist designs ever executed. An amazing hand made sterling silver modernist heavy cuff bracelet adorned with an inlay of shell by the renown Israeli jeweler, Rachel Gera.

Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of about 1 1/4". This cuff is rigid and has no give. Also measures 2 1/2" at the widest.

Signed on the back on a cartouche Rachel Gera and 925. Also hand signed Gera.

Fine condition. Has a little indentation around the shell and some tarnish. Heavy and substantial. Better for a larger wrist...

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby in Sterling Silver and Ebony. This large marlin measures 3 3/4" long and 1 1/2" tall. Lightly hammered. Marked fhb, Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds tightly. Nice condition, just a few minor scratches and a little tarnish. A wonderful example of Mid Century Modern jewelry.

Structuralist pendant by noted modernist Paul Lobel, who produced innovative jewlery in his New York studio in the 1950s. Consisting of ridgid sterling silver holding a large amber glass marble. Signed "Lobel, Sterling" as shown. Excellent vintage condition. Chain not included.

A modernist sterling silver heavy pendant necklace signed Gra-Wun for the Scottsdale Arizona jeweler Ray Graves. The central pendant is textured and layered for an interesting effect. The hand wrought links are concave on two sides.

The pendant measures 2 1/4" across and 1 3/8" high. The necklace measures about 26" in total. Weighs 75 gr. Has no closure, meant to be slipped over the head.

A rare brooch and earrings set by noted Sausalito Mid 20th century jeweler, Loyola Fourtane. She and her husband were jewelers and artists and worked from their houseboat in Sausalito, California from the 1930's -50's.

This set is made of sterling silver with copper and brass embellishments and what look like carnelian cabochons.
