A vintage sterling silver Palm Tree brooch by Frederick Davis. This early version has an unusual 'C' clasp with a locking hinge to hold the pin in place.

Signed with the impressed conjoined FD. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

Measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/8" high. Weighs 24 gr. The brooch has a warm patina with a little tarnish. The tip of the pin is slightly curved to prevent you from sticking yourself.

Circa 1930's - 1940's, this easel frame is the work of Matilde Poulat / Matl. It's entirely hand-wrought and exquisitely crafted, with two beautiful repoussé birds.
