An elegant gilt sterling silver oval brooch by Kirk in the "Repousse" pattern. Kirk made a range of jewelry in this pattern but only a few were then gilt. With the addition of a bail to the back, this pin would make a very striking vertical pendant. The back is stamped with Kirk's hallmark from the 1932-61 period.

A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. William DeHart - rare American modernist sterling brooch.

Brooch measures 3 3/4" x 4".

Condition - excellent.

DeHart exhibited at The Walker Art Center mid 20th century.

Composed of a diamond-shaped sterling silver pendant suspended from a chain of curled and flattened sterling wire and amethyst glass beads. The pendant is constructed of separate triangular pieces attached to a central frame of curled wires. The back of the pendant is marked sterling. The entire necklace measures 13 ½ inches long (chain is doubled); the pendant alone measures 4 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.

The "Silver By Tono" hallmark dates this piece 1948-1953. Collector quality.

This Antonio Pineda pin is a superb early creation, with a repoussé silver upper segment and a large amethyst cabochon dangle. The recesses are oxidized giving a great deal of depth.

I have not seen this design before and believe it to be quite rare.

Measures 2 3/8" wide, 2" tall.

Measures about 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" high including the bale. In very nice condition with a dark patina, we did not polish it.

A beautifully made Shiebler silver medallion of the type known as the Etruscan or Homeric series. The medallion features a bust length rendering of a soldier wearing a crested helmet displaying a dog or wolf. The reverse of the piece is fully marked "W84/Shiebler/(wings mark)/Sterling/720". Shiebler and his company, in addition to their very fine general reputation, were especially noted for their medallion work inspired by the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

A rare and early first design period 980 silver bracelet by William Spratling with 6 hats alternating with rows of three balls.

The bracelet has a dark patina. There is a slight bit of stiffness to the hinges. The pin closure is tight. Has some minor nicks and scratches as seen with pieces of this age.

A massive, amazing vintage bracelet in 970 silver with 6 cabachon amethysts by Antonio Pineda. The randomly placed stones are deeply set into the silver and appear to be almost floating. The cuff measures 5 1/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/2" opening. It is 2 3/4" wide at all points and weighs 177 grams. This is a heavy bracelet but remarkably comfortable on. Here is a coral garland (also referred to as “festoon” or “swag”) necklace, consisting of 8 coral cabuchons of graduated lengths and sizes. The three longest drops are on rigid bars. These Mexican silver dimensional floral earrings show great detail of the open flower. The size is 1.25 inches by 1 inch. Hallmarked as shown by DS and weighing 8 grams. These look like a perfect match to the clamper also listed on my site of the same flower. The presence of the earring on is a beautiful reflection. Condition is perfect.

This signed Matilde Poulat necklace lays beautifully and is a statement maker at 1.5in. tall and approximately 18in. wearable length. It's been a while since I presented a piece by Gerardo Lopez but he is one of my favorite Taxco maestros, a talented silversmith and designer who excelled in the art of repoussage. I believe Lopez was at his best when he created pectoral necklaces and clamper bracelets and it is an exquisite example of the latter form that I am showing here. Designed in the pre-Columbian style, this sterling silver bracelet is composed of curved openwork panels connected with small pins. It bears the mark of J.N.
