Brutalist bracelet made up by five large cast, sawed and oxidized sterling silver links. From Finnfeelings, the firm of Sten & Laine, Turku, Finland. Marks: the dented small mark of Finnfeelings, 925, A (city mark for Abo /Turku), year mark U7 = 1973, Finland and Swedish importation mark. Length when clasped "7 ¾ / 20 cm, width "1 1/3 / 3.4 cm, weight 52 grams. Falls smoothly around the wrist. Condition: fine.

A pair of vintage circa 1955 sterling silver and enamel brooches by Margot de Taxco, (Margot Van Voorhies Carr). One is a dark grey poodle dog, #5686 and the other is a multicolored rooster, #5793. These brooches may be purchased individually or as a pair.

This beautifully detailed sash buckle was designed for Tiffany by the well-known and highly collectible George Shiebler. The marks are: “Tiffany & Co,” the winged S for Shiebler, “Sterling,” and “4758” (we’re not sure what that means). It is 3” x 2”, with a slight curve to it, and weighs 42.2g/1.49oz. Decorated with a floral motif, it’s a classic beauty. Geo. W. Shiebler & Co. was in business under that name from 1876 until almost 1915...

This pretty lavalier or pendant is enameled on both sides - unusual for Arts & Crafts pieces. The front has a central panel in a beautiful peacock blue, and 2 outer panels in the shape of stylized hearts, in a darker blue. The back is sky-blue (a little worn at a few of the high points). There is a freshwater pearl drop. It weighs 2.1g and measures 1-5/8” from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pearl. This unusual enameled sterling pendant comes out of the Arts & Crafts movement, roughly 1880-1920 (it can be argued that it still continues!) The enamel colors are associated with the women’s suffrage movement in the UK: green (Give), white (Women the), and violet (Vote) – or at least, that’s the story! The free-standing wire work (so unusual!) interlaces around the body of the piece, and holds an oval of mother-of-pearl in place. Also unusual is the use of some brown enamel...

This beautiful pendant is straight out of the Arts & Crafts movement; it’s very much in the style of Horner, but it’s unsigned. It is enameled in an intense blue with areas of a much lighter blue. The dropper shades from a pale green through a lighter blue into an intense blue, echoing the color of the main part of the pendant. The back is marked “sterling silver”, and the dropper is marked “silver”. It measures 1-3/8 x 1-3/16, and is on a modern 18” sterling chain...

This plique a jour pendant is centered with an oval white opal and accented with eight colorless brilliants. The dropper is a fresh water pearl. The translucent enamel is an unusual and lovely blue in color. Plique a jour, that unusual, difficult, and beautiful technique, dates from the 15th century. It was used by Cellini, then revived in the late 1800s in France. The metal frame in this lovely piece is 900 silver, suggesting that the piece is most likely German or Austrian in origin...

A great, early sterling silver cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large silver wire wrapped glass orb. Marked Sterling, Original Hand Wrought Design, and Rebajes on the back. Measures 4 3/4" around with an opening of 1 3/8". Could probably be adjusted slightly but meant to wear snuggly so the orb doesn't roll around. Measures 1 3/8" at the widest. Fine condition. There are some minor surface scratches to the finish. The glass looks like a large drop of water...

A modernist pendant by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of sterling silver with a wire overlay reminds us of a stylized longhorn. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Measures 1" across and 1 1/4" high including the bale. Chain measures 16" and has a spring closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish and a nick to the silver wire, (which can be buffed out if desired).

An early cross brooch in Sterling Silver with Coral, Amethyst and Mother of Pearl by Matilde Poulat. Measures 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" tall. Marked MATL, 925 and also has an etched 'E'. Has a squiggle of silver attached to the bottom by two rings. Amethyst stone is faceted. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Very unusual combination of stones.

This CoroCraft sterling blue hook billed bird of paradise brooch is gold plated sterling with rhinestones and wonderfull enameling. It is hallmarked CoroCraft sterling with Pegasus.

Reference: Bruinialti, American Costume jewelry- Art & Industry (2008) Vol 1, page 93, mark number 7. Circa 1944-1947. It is in amazing condition.

A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Marked on the back, Sterling King. Measures 2 1/8" across and 2 1/8" tall. There is a light gold wash on the silver. Has a rolling safety clasp that holds tightly. There is a small area on the edge of the stone that is a little rough, may be original. Classic Arthur King design.

Sergio is another one of Taxco’s “enigmatic” names. Whether a maestro or a retailer is not known nor is their relationship - if any at all - with the other Sergio whose name is signed in script...

A charming and intriguing bracelet by Japanese designer and jeweler Miye Matsukada (1922-1981). She worked from her store on Newbury St. in Boston from 1950 until her death. The links appear to have design influence from her country of origin. Measuring 7" end to end , it is 1/2" wide and weighs 19 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A very delicate and lovely bracelet.

Big, bold and beautiful sterling rock crystal and black enamel ring designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen Denmark. The ring is a size 6 1/2 and it plain in the back so can be sized. The face of the ring measures 1/2" by 1/2". It also sits 1/2" high above the finger. Fine original condition. Signed as shown. This ring is a stunner !
