A modernist sterling silver brooch with a black orb by Sigi Pineda. The orb may be onyx.
Measures 2 7/8" long and almost 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 81, and Eagle #3. Also marked with what looks like design number 304.
Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Circa 1940's, this large brooch is said to be named after Spratling's parrot "Lorenzo".
It's a huge and spectacular pin, measuring 4 1/2" tall and 1 3/16" wide, with a weight of 49.4 grams.
This left facing parrot has a 1 1/2" long amethyst body and exquisite repoussé silver work. Pin closes with a roller. All original and collector quality.

This unusual enameled sterling pendant comes out of the Arts & Crafts movement, roughly 1880-1920 (it can be argued that it still continues!) The enamel colors are associated with the women’s suffrage movement in the UK: green (Give), white (Women the), and violet (Vote) – or at least, that’s the story! The free-standing wire work (so unusual!) interlaces around the body of the piece, and holds an oval of mother-of-pearl in place. Also unusual is the use of some brown enamel...
A signed Thomas Kerr Ebbutt galleon sailing ship sterling silver pin or brooch fully hallmarked for Edinburgh, Scotland 1959. It has the Ebbutt maker's mark (in use from 1937-69), it weighs 7.5 grams and there is a ribbon below the Viking style ship which has never been engraved. It is also stamped SOTLAND (sic) and it has an etched identification date from a previous owner. It has a safety clasp and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This signed, handsome and distinguished pair is more than fine looking: a heavy rectangular face with polished, horizontal bars that alternate with dark grooves (I believe enamel, rather than oxidized). Next is the Sigi-esque enhancement of a surmounted, polished boomerang. One cuff link is marked Sigi TASCO (each inside connecting ovals) and numbered 38 (or 33). The other cuff link is stamped STERLING HECHO IN MEXICO with an eagle mark of number 96 (the Sigi Pineda eagle stamp)...

Circa 1940-1945, this is a heavy solid 940 silver bracelet from Hector Aguilar. It's an iconic early design, known as "Fertility".
A book piece design, it's shown in the Morrill/Berk book "Silver Masters of Mexico", as well as "Mexican Silver".
Executed in 94% pure silver, it's entirely hand-wrought, with deeply incised links and oxidized recesses.

An Indonesian gilt sterling silver filigree garnet pin brooch circa 1900 1910. This finely crafted Edwardian 2-3/4 x 1-5/8" brooch features fine filigree wirework with applied decoration and ball dangles; it has a genuine bezel-set garnet stone as well. It has the original c-clasp, it is unsigned, it weighs 12.7 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some mellowing and light losses to the gilding...
Dramatically decorated with an embossed and oxidized Celtic design. The inside of the cuff exhibits hammering; it is quite sturdy and has retained its shape. The bracelet shows hardly any signs of wear. It is marked 925 sterling inside the band. It measures 1 ¼ inches wide and the opening measures anbout 1 inch across. It has a 7-inch internal circumference. Weight: 61 grams
A complete set, a parure, of pendant, earrings and brooch made of silver with marcasites and gold trimmings. All parts with little scenes in gold of grazing deer, the gold having been cut out and soldered onto the silver underneath. Made around 1910-20, probably in South Germany or Austria. All marcasites except those of the pendant are set with prongs. The gold content is over 10 carats and the silver which is unmarked except for the earrings (marked Sterling 925) exceeds 900/1000...
Cini sterling Zodiac Taurus pin is 1 5/8 wide by 1 1/2" tall. It is Hallmarked STERLING BY CINI with a copyright symbol" in a rectangle box.
In 1979, Cini died.
