Dating 1930's-40's, this Fred Davis amethyst fish pin is, I believe, quite rare.

Measuring 2 3/4" x 2 1/8, with a weight of 47.6 grams, it's a very substantial piece. The amethyst stone has gorgeous grape hues, with natural inclusions and quartz marbling, measuring 1 3/8" x 1 1/8". The eye is a turquoise cabochon.

A vintage sterling silver modernist pendant and necklace by Hans Sten and Karl Laine from Sten and Laine in Finland. Pendant reminds us of an abstract spiderweb. Pendant measures 3 1/8" long to the top of the bale and 2 1/8" at the widest. Chain is attached at the bale and closes with a spring clasp that holds tightly. Chain measures about 17" around. Marked on the bale with the hallmark for Sten and Laine, 925H for sterling, Town mark for Turku and T7 for 1972. Very nice condition...

This pendant displays a great example of Danish silver jewelry. The artist is Erik Dennung and the piece is manufactured by Buch and Deichmann. Its diameter is 2 1/2". The Scandinavian, abstract, brutalist design sits within a concave disk, of sorts, and is 1/2" in height. This piece has a cool Modernist design and weighs 70 grams - 2 1/2 ounces. This sterling silver belt buckle by renown modernist Ed Wiener exhibits a strong, clean design, crisply forged with a smooth panel of ebony set within a partial applied frame. The back has a well-soldered rectangular loop and prong with no signs of repair; it bears Ed Wiener's mark and the mark for sterling. There is a nicely aged patina, with random spots of oxidation, and a roughly half-inch shallow incision of unknown origin on the surface (best seen in first and last photos)...

Formed as a square panel with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation, this Joseph Skinger design is called "Pine Needle." The pin has its original rollover clasp, which is quite secure. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. This lovely necklace is 17" long. It consists of sterling silver links (each 7/8" long) that meet to display a decorative bordered Eilat stone (the national stone of Israel: "The King Solomon Stone"). The colorful stone (greens and blues), set in sterling, has a diameter of 3/4". The drop itself measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/8". The back is marked 925. This piece is in excellent condition. A modernist sterling silver ring by Oscar Aaroe, (1905-1996), a jeweler and silversmith born in Denmark who apprenticed with Georg Jensen and had his store on Palm Springs, California. This modernist, geo brooch measures just over 1 3/4" x 1" (at widest point). It is concave and incised with 3 line borders. The back is hallmarked GD & Co (for Gustav Dahlgren & Co.), M (city mark for Malmo), then, the Swedish National triple crown hallmark, S (in hexagon, indicating 830 silver or higher) and K9 for 1960. The back is also signed what looks like Gillgren in script. It is in great condition.
