Original painting (gouache on paper) by Adolf Dehn (American, 1895-1968), in excellent original condition. This painting is signed l.r. It also bears a handwritten label with the signature of the artist and the title of the painting (Haiti #7). 7" by 10" painting alone, 12" by 15" in its original frame. Dehn is a major American painter and lithographer. He spent some time in Haiti in 1948 and 1949, and produced a number of works (paintings and lithographs) with Haitian subjects...

Matted, framed with glass. Not examined out of frame. Please disregard glare. Frame measures 22" x 14". Possibly the work of Anna T. Swinburne.

This is a small Balinese watercolour painting by local painter, signed Widana, from Kelating, size 13 inches by 8.5 inches, scenery of lady farmers in the padi field working together. A nicely painted and peaceful 1920s-30s watercolour of a winter scene with a deer. This 5-1/2" x 3-5/8" sight size picture is in the original gilt embossed wood 11 x 9" frame with a gold mat. It is unsigned but looks like our other painting by L. Livingston (our stock number 5727), and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, fading, tears, staining, foxing, losses, damage or repairs...

A nicely painted and tranquil signed watercolour of a sailboat on a lake with islands and distant mountains c1920s. This 7-1/8" x 4-1/2" sight size picture is in what appears to be the original gilt and painted wood embossed 10-1/4" x 7-1/2" frame with a gold mat. It is signed L. Livingston (unidentified), and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, fading, tears, staining, foxing, losses, damage or repairs...

Abstract watercolor, by Joseph Meierhans, Bucks County, Pa. modernist, circa 1940's. In very good original condition this work measures appx. 10 1/2" x 14". Estate stamped on verso. Meierhans, b. 1890 in Switzerland, came to the United States in 1917, eventually settling in Bucks County. He studied under A.N. Lindenmuth and J. Sloan. He was a member of the S.Indp.Artists, ASL, Provincetown A.A. and the American Abstract Artists.
