This seems to be a scarce work, as I see only two other examples after an online search. Those two were pencil signed by the artist and numbered out of an edition of 100. Original 1977 Marc Chagall (1887-1985) color lithograph "The Village", (Mourlot 917), executed for the "Le Chemin de L'Amitie" issue of Derriere Le Miroir (No. 225), 1977, in an unsigned edition of 15,000. This example came to be signed later by Chagall in pencil at lower right ("complimentary signature"), perhaps at a special gallery or printer event. Interesting and unusual print by a so far unidentified artist, 10 1/4" by 8" inside the mat, 15" by 12 1/2" simply framed, the subject a white-haired fiddler seated in a chair. The Mark Twain-appearing man vaguely resembles figures you've seen in prints by Thomas Hart Benton, and the print REALLY resembles a work by artist Eric Bransby (born 1916), recently recognized with an exhibition at a well-known Denver gallery...

The piece is pencil signed at lower right and numbered 132/300 at lower left. This particular print is widely considered a late, unauthorized edition so is offered strictly as manner of or after the great Dali's work, the signature not by Dali, who died in 1989 and was not signing in the years before his death...

Lithograph print of two little sisters, printed by Associated American Artists at mid century, signed in pencil at lower right by the popular, listed Sicilian-born artist JEAN CALOGERO (1922-2001). The print, 14" by 9 5/8" (19" by 15" framed), dates likely to the 1950's or 1960's. Calogero's colorful oils of children, and mysterious fantasy scenes including masks and Surrealist elements, are familiar to art lovers. This print has some paper browning but otherwise appears clean.

Evident past attempts to remove an over mat has resulted in skinning of the paper in the lower portion, and residue from the over mat remains at top.
